cueman
This guy gets unreal amounts for his auctions. You gotta hand it to him though, he knows how to advertise: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5777880939 Todd
kev313
Except for the part where he refers to them as having a "walnut oil" finish.
garymd
I don't think he used real pics. They look like they came straight off the Klipsch homepage. Edit: Nevermind. Says he guarantees they are what's in the picture. Strangest looking walnut I've ever seen.
BS Button
Hey, He may have put "walnut oil" on those oak speakers.
cueman
Right, but the point being, $1050 for Forte II's? This guy is local to me and I watch his auctions all the time. He rakes in the bucks !!
IndyKlipschFan
Wording and condition goes a long way doesn't it?
Lurch
Please note that the folks with 0 feedback bid it up past $1000. I wonder when we'll see these again??? Jeff
Corvette6769
I noticed this auction too and saw that the high bidder with zero feedback has only bid on this seller's auctions. That is what shill bidding looks like. If the shill bidder ends up high bidder, the seller simply sends a "second chance offer" to the next highest bidder. Here is where two fools met: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5777317280 - Hard to believe that someone would bid over $500.00 w/s&h for a pair of Hersey II, and the reeserve not met? Frzninvt
It also helps if your hot wife or girlfriend is in the picture showing her panties, certainly would lead to more hits I would think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=61378&item=5778647219&rd=
