tigerwoodKhorns
I have a bunch of pics of my false corners that I want to post. How do I post so that they show up in the thread instead of as attachments only? Thanks, Chris
Moderators Amy Posted June 20, 2005 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2005 First, start a new post and attach your picture. Then in the same post type in: #IMG src=http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/files/NAME OF PICTURE FILE.jpg# only in place of the # signs use an open bracket --to the right of the P on your keyboard (I can't type one in a post--it's html and won't appear correctly) and closed bracket at the end. tofu
[/img] would yield alternatively, you could use greater and less than signs "<" ">" in place of the brackets. i think the board auto converts them to the brackets automatically.
Clipped and Shorn
You can use the above formula and just make up stuff and see what happens. C&S
fini
On that note, C&S, it would be nice to be able to search the images we all have loaded onto the Klipsch server. You know, with thumbnails and all. I'll bet Trey and Amy can do that...

Thanks, Larry ---------------- those are unicode values. also a great way to get around censors in various forums you could either memorize the value for each character (bad idea) or use some kind of converter (much more efficient). test -tofu

scriven
To make the [ and ] show up in a link example you need to put in the html character instead of the real one so that the server does not interpret it as a command. For example, to display use [ for the [ and ] for the ]. (This is what I tried to enter in my earlier post but fat fingered the codes!)
