TheEAR
Ha,a four way speaker, with dual midranges and dual piezo supertweeters! Where do you find these oldies?
picky
They look like Early 1970's Pioneers to me...or Sansui as Petrol said.
hwatkins
These are Sansui all the way. In the 70s a bunch of these kept showing up back home with the soldiers serving in the vietnam arena. R&R and base was often in Japan and the price/performance was very good. These (or speakers like these) were the first to get me interested in a better quality sound.... jacksonbart
They look better with the grills on. Has any one seen the movie Vacation with Chevy Chase? They look a little bit like the speaker version of the Queen Family Truckster.

Typical Japanese design, with the multiple speaker elements and such. I wonder how they sound? For comparison, here are a couple pictures of some Pioneer CS-99As I saved from a trip to the dumpster a little over a year ago: And this is the thread that I posted about these when I got them. If those Sansui speakers are anything like those Pioneer speakers, I bet they sound pretty darn good.
