JohnA
I knew a guy in college that had a pair of those powering Advents in the dorm. No one knew what they were worth but maybe me.
garymd
$2750. Someone has a lot of explaining to do when his wife finds out what he just bought! Actually, I thought they'd go higher.
Gilbert
Watch out for the infamous 2nd-Chance Offers
Joe Auwen
Well darn, I'm out for a bit of surgery for a day and look what I miss...! I'm not a serious collector, so personally, I would not have gone more than about $1,800, or so, for them! I would think that the close serial numbers would be the big draw for them, as I'm not sure they are as perfect as the pictures may portray! I actually have a soft spot for the 'less than perfect' MC30s...
Joe Auwen
Just got my 'second chance' offer for these....! What am I to do, they are sooooh nice and it's REALLY swell of the guy to give me a another opportunity to pick them up for a 'steal'... Parrot
Those fraudulent second chance offers are rampant now, aren't they?
Allan Songer
Seller has a 908 rating with tons of recent transactions among which were many vintage and "high end" audio sales. This DOES NOT look like a scam. Was the "2nd chance offer" a legitimate ebay offer from this seller or one of those fake ones that we seem to get all of the time? Joe Auwen
The auction is real and the buyer has already paid for the amps! So any second chance offers are definately scams!!!
