Pics of my Cornwall / La Scala Home Theater!

Cornwalled

Hey Guys,

I finally got around to getting some pics of my home theater, thought I'd post them here, see what you guys think. The first pic is of the front line. The right Cornwall is out of the pic, camera didn't zoom wide enough to get it in.

EDIT: Forum didn't attach pic, scroll down for first pic- called hometheaterleft1.jpg

Left to right its:

1. Cornwall (notice the theme of cars through out?)

2. Cerwin Vega B-36MF 18" folded horn

3. La Scala with electronic crossover and 4 channel amp

4. Panasonic 27" flat tube TV, xbox, and surge protector. VCR resides under.

5. Stereo rack with hordes of stuff, discussed later...

Close-up of the Cerwin Vega and LaScala. Notice my pinewood derby cars on top of the Cerwin Vega. On top of the La Scala rests it's own electronic crossover and a 70's Marantz 4270 QuadRadial receiver. I'm just going straight into 3 of it's amps.

Right side pic, shows the right Cornwall, and it's accompanying Realistic LAB turntable. Probably not ideal position for it, but it got evicted from on top of the stereo rack when I installed the LaScala. It's not hooked up at the moment.

Close up of the stereo rack. Top to bottom:

1. Marantz CD-5400 CD Player

2. Yamaha HTR-5650 6.1 Receiver

3. 60's Soundcraftsmen Solid State preamp. Functioning as EQ for phono stage

4. Denon Cassette Deck- best deck I've owned.

5. Denon 5 disc CD changer- not hooked up.

Here's the stuff that doesn't fit in the rack and must sit on top!

Top to bottom:

1. Marantz DV6200 DVD Player

2. Yamaha 10 band stereo EQ- not hooked up at the moment.

3. Behringer PEQ 2200 5 band Parametric EQ. For the Cerwin Vega. I use it to cut room resonance around 60-80 and boost low end around 40 where the folded horn starts to roll off. Really cleaned up the system.

4. Yamaha DSP-A1000 functioning as a sub amp for Cerwin Vega.

And last but not least the warning to all curious onlookers...

Hope you guys enjoyed my system and feel free to comment! Any one in the area of Northeast PA that would like to have a listen is welcome!

I don't have pictures of the rears because they're not Klipsch yet.

Oh yeah! Can't forget the computers that put it all together! Black box is a P4 2.8 GHz, driving the middle and right screens, next to it is Mac G3 driving the left screen. Seems no matter how hard I try, I just can't keep my desk organized.

A back-breaking HP LaserJet 5 is resides bottom left, while an Epson Action Laser occupies bottom right.

I just used a little Olympus digital camera and backed all the way against the back wall. I wish my room was a little larger, I'm kinda crammed in here. On the upside, you get a very intimate sound, very detailed, as you are operating in the near-field of the speakers.

I'd like to get rid of the Cerwin Vega and get a good powered sub, that C/V just doesn't go very deep. Now that I have the Pioneer 12s in the Lincoln Towncar I miss the extension they had.

I could tell your single, because I had to hide my copy of "Playboy's sexy nude coeds" alot better than you hide it!

OOPS!

Funny, I went to such lengths to hide the disc, but forgot to hide the jacket. Funny how stuff shows up better in pictures than real life sometimes. But yeah, it's a regular bachelor pad here. Also, for whatever reason the stereo rack pic didn't upload first time, so here it is...
