codhead
It would seem that the new forum software may have exceeded the processing capabilities of the server.

codhead
Thanks guys. I'm using IE 5.2 on a Mac, and this site is like using a dialup connection vs. DSL. I'll download Firefox and see if that helps. If it's not the server, my browser must not like the new forum software.
MrMcGoo
The forum is fast for threads to come up but slow for the reply screen to come up. Also, the spell check does not work. Bill
Bill H.
Yes espically when trying to type a reply......it is delayed!......... also spell check comes up with an error msg.........
3dzapper
test Not really slow. The reply screen took a coulple of seconds to build though. Edit came right up. Rick
codhead
Will be interesting to see if any other Mac users have problems with Internet Explorer. I just loaded Firefox, and it seems to work fine with the new forum software. IE has serious speed problems (on both of my computers), but only with the Klipsch forums. arfz28
I think the forum is slower I have a dial up connection. I wonder if it will be easier to post pictures on the new forum.
crazytubepower
Yes it is slow! I have fast net and it is slow! I think this new software was a bad idea, If its not broke dont fix it
lwhaples
I can't really say it's that slow, just differnet. CTP give it time.[] Larry
lynnm
I'm using Firefox and the reply function seems normal. I try it with IE and see if I see any difference.
lynnm
No major difference except that when I tried with Ie the reply function seemed to function fractionally faster than with Firefox. That said the difference was so small that the slight speed advantage may well have had more to do with web traffic than with the server or the browser under test. I timed this and the difference was a matter of about 1/2 to 3/4 of a second which I see as being inconsequential and as noted above is likely more a function of internet traffic than the browser being used. I am on a cable connection via a wireless link. Other configurations may yield different results.

Kudret
It works fine for me too. I also like the fact that we can format our signatures by using html. [] Kudret
