Daddy Dee
CTP, Yeh, keep hanging in there. You have plans to acquire a Merlin at some point? Keep on the look out, there may be an occasional used or demo show up.

Cal Blacksmith
There is lots of other gear out there that sounds as good or better. Look at the equipment like girls, you have to go out with a lot of 'em to learn what qualities you want to have in a lasting relationship. Take your time, date around quite a bit and don't get serious too soon, enjoy life.
Piranha
Lots that is as good or better? Please elaborate and give me some ideas as to specific brands and models. I have some extra cash and I want to pick up some more gear for my collection. Thanks for your help in advance.
Cal Blacksmith
Ok, keeping it in the lower bucks range: New: for starters the Grounded Grid preamp, http://transcendentsound.com/preamp%20kit.htm Rogue 66 preamp Http://ww.soundscapeav.com/rogue66/html (used keeps it in the same ball park as above) Most any Mac pre Most any VTL and a list of makers to check out: Jolida audible illusions antique sound labs VAC Audio research Conrad Johnson Ok Tom?[]
Daddy Dee
I am going to get the blueberry, hopefully for x-mas, my love for vinyl is too deep to pass up on it. Love the merlin though! Hope Santa brings the BB. It's a can't go wrong option for phono stage. One thing that's a possibility... at some point, Mark will bring out a stand alone phono stage that will be built in the same case as Merlin. So, someone with a Merlin could add on the phono stage. I don't know how far out that would be on the horizon for Juicy Music, but just another option to throw in the hopper.
crazytubepower
Mark at one point said he would never do this, so I think you guys have too much wishful thinking
