codhead
If the initial reports are true, I can't help but to wonder what the Klipsch marketing folks are thinking. If the Heresy III is to sell for around $1.5K, what on earth justifies a 4K price point for CW III's? Historically, Cornwalls have been priced at a bit less than twice the cost of the Heresy. If this held true today, the CW III would retail for under 3K. I hope I'm wrong, but it would seem that the Heritage line once known for value is slowly being transformed into yet another high margin product. jpm
Same deal with the new LaScalla. Too much money. I still think the RF7 is the most bang for the buck in ALL the audio world.

Daddy Dee
I don't think Klipsch has yet determined what the price will be or even for sure if the CWIIIs will be back on the market.
D-MAN
Manufacturer's recommended list pricing is just that - "recommended". Retailers are not necessarily restricted to it, except when it serves their purposes. DM
codhead
Dean, Check out the post from "toomanyspeakers", claiming that he just ordered a new pair of CW III's from his dealer. At this point, no one from Klipsch has stepped in to refute his claim. - Jeff
colterphoto1
I'd like to offer the opinion that any reported prices are NOT OFFICIAL and that release dates for any new model in the Heritage line have not been announced. Please people, let's stay positive about this if we want any of this to come true at any price. Klipsch has been working hard on this Heritage reissue project, let's not get too excited and blow our cookies about unsubstantiated reports. I'm sure Amy or Trey will give us any OFFICIAL news once Klipsch is ready to release something. My guess is that we'll get a post the same day the news goes public, therefore look to the main website for news bulletins. Michael

Why on Earth would Klipsch build a huge box Stateside, only to ship it overseas, that just plain doesn't make sense. Is there some vast European market for Heritage? 20 of us were THERE, we know the truth. If what you hear isn't coming from a top Klipsch employee, or someone who attended the Heritage Gathering, you ain't hearing the truth. That should be authoritative for now. Michael

Seadog
I give up. LOL, Michael! I don't remember seeing Craig in Hope. Although, I guess you could say he was there in spirit. The rebuild job he recently did on my Scott 130 made it sound pretty sweet with Dee's Dynacos!

I hate to be the one to rain on your parade, but you're making a big leap if you're assuming everything you were told was "the truth". If you want "the truth" -- you'll have to drug Jim Hunter.
