st. patrick
seems like a perfectly normal young lad to me . . . . . except for the letter part; hasn't he heard of email?

colterphoto1
Oh, Amy is gonna LOVE you guys for this one. Just stop now, okay? Really..... Oh, and she does have a computer at home and does check in often during the weekend. If Trey finds this first, you're history. (kinda like hiding from Mom and Dad, isn't it?) colterphoto1
Michael , I appologize if the newspaper clipping was offensive to you ... [] No, it was a hoot. Just that that photo is gonna get us all in trouble. 'specially if I post my photos of toes.. Can anybody tell me that when I go to OPEN a file from this Forum, that my computer always tried to open them up on Photoshop? Seems that it would use the PDF program before, I had to print this out to view it. Michael
jt1stcav
I especially apologize for the indecent pic...really stupid of me (obviously I wasn't thinking)! Please don't bannish me...I'll be good from now on...I promise![:'(]
colterphoto1
Good man Jim, better that we 'self-police' than have Amy getting all bothered about our girlie pix all the time. Especially in light of the great jiggly avatar debate of last week LOL I'm going to use the good sense rule to pretend that my Mom could view this site and not post anything that would be offensive to her. Maybe that's a good place to start. Michael
J.4knee
"colterphoto1 Can anybody tell me that when I go to OPEN a file from this Forum, that my computer always tried to open them up on Photoshop? Look at what is in the "Opens With " text. Then click change to associate the file with your acrobat reader.
customsteve01
J.4knee, Thanks, you just told me how to fix my pictures opening with a program I don't want to use. I knew it was easy just couldn't figure it out. Now I know. Thx Steve
colterphoto1
Thanks J4, I knew that, but in the case of the newpaper scan above, I don't see where the 'change association' selection area is. Michael
J.4knee
Michael I just looked at the file format it is a JPEG, so my guess is that is likely what your default associate all your JPEG files to open with. Have you clicked on/opened a PDF file from the internet with the same results?

colterphoto1
Ah, that's it. If it's a PDF, like Wil McD's, it does open in acrobat. This was a jpg, that's why the computer defaulted to Pshop. Thanks. M
