CECAA850
I haven't taken any max SPL measurements. The only measurements I've taken were for EQ'ing. I have the drivers wired for 8 Ohms so I'm only pushing 250 watts/driver. I've yet seen the need to wire for 2 Ohms. The SQ is absolutely phenominal. I went from an SVS PCU and PB12+2 (non-colocated) to the IB. My goal was to upgrade proof my bass and I think I've done it. I've had no desire to change. This is the 5'th different sub set-up I've had and I believe I'm done. Everything you've read about ease of installation, SQ and bang for the buck is true. As you know, it takes a decent sub to keep up with the efficiency of the RF-7's so....................................

DrWho
because it's a piece of crap... There is a huge difference between "show" and actual "performance." If all you're interested in is the image, then go for it. But if you're interested in true performance and actually listening to quality sound then look elsewhere. Olorin
This page says it all about what that speaker is really for. I'm going to get one for my Land Cruiser after I lower it and get some 22" spinners.

wuzzzer
On the show Pimp My Ride they installed that 22" MTX sub in a older Buick Century (If I remember right). They had to install heavier duty shocks to hold the weight of the sub. They had 6-8 amps running it, each 1000W RMS. [:^)]
