The only song I kinda know goes something like: You don't drink, you don't something else, what do you do. Danny

dbflash
Ok, After listening to some jazz this morning while I was reading the paper and doing my first Sudoku of the day, I put this CD on while i was getting ready to go to work: I told her I had always lived alone And I probably always would And all I wanted was my freedom And she told me that she understood Danny
Jeff Matthews
Hey, why not merge with the original "Name that Tune" game in the General Forum? It was there first, and if all of you were there, we'd all have more fun! []
theryugobuddy
Hey Jeff--- Your thread inspired this one,, but its different--- This one is a test of your memory of classic rock played on the radio at some time. To me, this ones more fun! It has become more a test of your memory, and less a test of your record collection. I started this one when yours was about page 22, and I saw so many of the lyrics up for guessing were songs I had never heard -- nor artists I had ever listened to-- --so this one was born. And you only need to guess artist OR song to make the next challenge-- no time limits. And you police yourself-- And, both of these threads share many of the same players anyway- --aren't you at 39 pages yet? thats amazing!! Why don't you bag yours and start playing this one? LOL

LOL Okay, I bagged it... NOT. I didn't notice the 2 distinctions (artist OR song) and (radio play). Like the radio play, but the artist OR song? BTW, Texas Ron's avatar looks like the album cover for Genesis' "Foxtrot." []
dbflash
Hey Buddy Welcome back. Glad you made it back home with no problems. Tomorrow I will get back to my original song, but for today I'd kinda like to take a day off because in away for me today the music died. Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one

The part that says "And it's here to stay" should be sung like "And it's here to stay... yay... yay...yay..." 2nd EDIT: I am surprised at you all! "Put my faith in the people, and the people let me down." []
Jeff Matthews
I had no idea this one would have been hard. Sorry. It was "I Just want to Celebrate." Try this: "We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow. The hammer of the gods Will drive our ships to new lands, To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!"
