RAPTORMAN
I always wanted to own a Mcintosh gear since I was a kid. Well, a lot of years later, I got a delivery for a Mcintosh MC 275 MK IV. I don't know how would this match up with my Khorns--But who cares it's a Mcintosh.

jt1stcav
Congrats are definately in order, Raptorman. My ol' MC250 was the best transistorized Mac I've ever experienced with my Cornwalls, hands down! If it wasn't for my 300B SET amp, I'd still be driving my vintage Cornwalls with that MC250 (or any Mac tube amp if finances allowed). Li'l Tiffany here agrees that your new MC275 is a perfect combo with your Klipschorns...she loves a man who loves Mac tubes and big horns![]
J.4knee
Congrats, I am slobbering all over my keyboard. I'd love to have that amp. As far as mating to your K-Horns all I can say is ....DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave in ABQ
Raptorman, if your Mac doesn't make you happy, I'll be happy to take it off your hands. Even trade you for a big SS Pioneer Receiver. LOL. Congratultions! If it sounds as good as it looks, I'm sure you'll be in audio heaven.
www.records
Congrats on the Mac. I have a pair of MC40 monoblocks hooked up to my Altec 604's and it is a great match. I am sure your Mc and Khorns will be nothing short of audio heaven. I imagine folks here probably wonder why a person who doesn't own Klipsch drops in on a Klipsch site. I guess we all are lovers of horns. I am curious about the difference in the sound between Altec 604's and Khorns. Anyone heard both to compare? I do see several who use some Altec horns along with their Klipsch. Not meant to hijack, just running off at the mouth. Steve
sheltie dave
WWW, if you are near St. Louis, you can hear Khorns, Cornwalls, RF7s, Belles, and Valencias between Carl and me. If you throw in Capn Bob in, you have everything covered!
www.records
Dave, thanks for the offer, but I live in Joplin, the complete opposite side of the state. You are about 4.5 hours away. Have you ever heard 604's?
