Mike Lindsey
I have a 299 (1960) rebuilt by Craig that has a marvelous phono stage in it. I have about $500 invested in mine, and that includes Telefunken 12AX7's and a Mullard 5AR4 Rectifier. Mike
tigerwoodKhorns
Its too late, but I sold a Magus MFA preamp that had a killer phono stage. That could have been mated to an NOS Valves Dynaco 70 and you would have been set (but with separates). Actually, I used the funds from the Magus to buy your Benchmark.
