garymd
I sold mine on ebay for about $2300 2 years ago. It wasn't perfect but was pretty nice with an original cabinet. Expect to pay closer to $3k for a perfect one unless you get lucky.

Very clean examples (on Ebay) have been averageing in the $3100 to $3500 range. $3800 is the most I can remember, and that was about Nov. of last year. Ki Choi
There seems to be 7c's with 12AX7 tubes and another version with 12AU7 tubes? Am I correct? If so, which one is more desirable? Thanks, Ki
garymd
I thought they all took 6 12AX7s.

Thanks, Ki There's only one version of the model 7 with 6-12AX7 tubes. The model 1 mono preamps had 2 versions. 1st version with 2-12AX7's and 1-12AU7 and the second version with 3-12AX7's. Ki Choi
Gary: You are correct. It was the older Model ONE mono preamps that started out with 12AU7s and went to 12AX7s before making the 7s.
