Lostinozz
Smilin should really be smilin about now![] I'm smilin and they're not even mine! That is beautiful work. I've done just enough veneer work to know it's not easy, and to get results like that takes a lot of time and patience. Yer mah hero[]
Tom Mobley
I was asked about the white edges visible on the back, vent and 15" hole. I painted those parts black first, before the veneer went on. then when I sanded the edges of the veneer flush I knocked off a little of the black. It'll get touched up later. jwc
What happened here. We need an update such as drivers installed, network and what it sounds like. What did you put on top? jc
Deang
Probably very close to being done. I talked to Tom a few weeks ago and he was still fighting through issues working with the lacquer in the high heat/humidity weather. JBL 2404 tweeters, JBL 2470's with Trachorns, and dual TAD 1601A's. ALK attenuators for the tweeters, and the network is a v-capped modified ALK design. 'Modified' in that the low pass section had to be changed to work with the dual TAD's. Credit goes to Dennis for the low pass section. When Steve and Tom decided to drop the K-33's in favor of the TADs -- I needed a driver database and box calculator -- so I used a software program called 'DJK'. Network pics are on the previous page.
