BEC
I started the process to get these woofers about 6 months ago. Well, a large pallet of them arrived this afternoon. Bob Crites

SamS
Bob, How are these different/better than the ones you currently offer on ebay?
whamo
Those are sweet Bob, what do they go for? Or is that bad etiquette to ask that on the forum. Your package arrived intact too. Thanx Bob! Mark
BEC
Well, we were shooting for exactly like the stamped frame ones I had produced earlier. As a happy coincidence we gained a bit of output because of the more efficient magnet assembly. Best that can be said is that it is a good replacement for the K-33E and has a stronger frame. I will have them one eBay shortly, or someone can email me for a bit better than eBay price. Bob Crites bobcrites@centurytel.net

freddyi
nice specs Bob - wonder it that works out to sounding a bit tighter in K-horn than ususal K33E spec woofer? is mms around 75g? I've got many woofer including 421-8/416/M151/B&C but almost no "interesting" cabinets, no way to cut cabs clean and no builders in sight to do custom work (cheap-haha) Freddy
Guest " "
BEC spec's look very attractive. do you have this speakers specific bandwidth/frequency response range?
BEC
BEC spec's look very attractive. do you have this speakers specific bandwidth/frequency response range? Looks like from the small hard to read manufacturers test chart that the woofer had good output to around 1.5 khz. Now, they didn't tell me what type enclosure they used to get that and the enclosure will be the major determining factor for that. BEC
Freddy, MMS is 75.5 grams. Bob
Guest " "
wow, 1.5k, that would be excellent for anyone using an gentle slope type xover. I recall on another thread that the stock k-33 has trouble reaching half that. Cornwall owners, heads up.
Wrench722
Witch would be better Klipsch's or yours for use with ES400T Extreme-slope?
Guest " "
Wrench722 if your cabs are stock size, either will work just fine since the es400 is a very steep slope xover and won't extend by design above 400hz. if your cabs are over sized (I built a few as far as 15% above stock), Bob's would work better due to the lower FS. spl is very slightly higher on bob's. If it is what is the diffrents between the ones you are selling now and the new one you just got? Yep, that is me. The ones on eBay are the almost the same except with a stamped frame (like the K-33E) instead of the cast frame these have. Send me an email for the price of the cast frame model.
