jheis
Geeze fini, you must not be very good at dropping hints. Parker 51, eh? Maybe you'll find one in your Xmas stocking if you're good. James
fini
Actually, James, I don't need any more of them, as I already have a couple fists full. I was an active collector back in the 80's and 90's, but when the supply of inexpensive vintage fountain pens dried up, I kinda lost interest. I still love my '05 Parker 47 taper eydropper, though... garymd
Happy belated birthdays!! Hope you guys had fun. Did they celebrate Columbus Day back when you were kids or was it still Erik The Red Day?[] Sorry I missed your birthday Gregg. I had something put away for just such an occasion. Now it'll have to wait for Christmas.[]
Allan Songer
Happy birthday, fini ol' pal! Consider the night at Charlie O's a birthday present if you make it down here in a couple of weeks!
fini
I'll tell you, that sounds GREAT! As of right now, walking more than, say 1/8 mile is a major problem, inducing excruciating pain in my Achilles. Not a problem for Charlie O's, but Disneyland seems a bit of a stretch. I guess I could ride the Monorail all day...Too bad I can't get into the only place that serves booze in the Magic Kingdom!

fini
Yeah, a wheelchair has been suggested before (by my kids, who see it as an advantage for getting onto rides sooner). I REALLY don't want to do that. I want my tendonitis to get better...
Moderators dtel Posted October 11, 2006 Moderators Share Posted October 11, 2006 The other day when this thread started I asked my wife , how old do you think Fini is and she said, 48 or 49. The good news is she didn't say 58, the bad news is didn't say 38.
fini
Christy is pretty perceptive. Either that, or she was counting the scales on my back last June in Hope...[]
