powerman
I opened my Lascala's and pulled out the woofer. To my surprise the surround is rubber instead of doped paper. It lookes like a Klipsch driver and has a square magnet. There are some numbers on the cone that appear to be P15003230 but are hard to read. Is this a Klipsch speaker? Is it a K-33? Blvdre
If it looks to be an original k-33, it may be that someone replaced the surround with the incorrect part, maybe a non-original aftermarket.
djk
"the surround is rubber instead of doped paper" The correct surround is not doped paper, it is cloth. Older ones were doped with a shiny clear substance.
