tgenius
I just took deivery of my RF82s and RB61s. Since its late I won't try to sample any movies, but I'm playing some XM radio off satellite (yes not the best source to test) but I must say even with the compressed audio, it sounds crystal clear! Speedball
Welcome......Good for you! Klipsch in general has a way of conveying so much more of the music to a listener
tgenius
Welcome......Good for you! Klipsch in general has a way of conveying so much more of the music to a listener It's very possible. I am coming from a KSB 3.1/KSB 2.1/RC-3 setup to the RF82/RB61/RC62 so its a substantial jump in quality and clarity.
Raider
Welcome! I'm listening to RF82's as I type. We enjoy these more and more every day. My wife has enjoyed them as much or more than I have. I think they represent the highest value in the line. I'd be interested in hearing your impressions of the RB61's compared to the RF82's. I am considering a pair with a sub for my study. tgenius
When I start doing movies I will test it, but for now, Im strictly doing audio. The RB61s are deff larger then the 3.1s and the 2.1s (the 2.1s are rears so they are the direct replacement in my setup.)
Arky
Ahhh new Klipsch in da house. Quite a step up...enjoy & welcome.
getech
Just think if you had the better RF83! Unbelievable sound quality. RF82's aren't bad, just not as refined as the 83's! Still not a bad choice....Enjoy!

el jopez
Arky I'm still penny pinching to get it done. [:S] Not to hijack the thread, but ideally my plan is to have the networks modded and then purchase either a hefty SS amp or maybe dabble with tubes for a while, all around the same time of course. I currently don't have the room for an HT, so a hefty 2 channel system may be in order []
Arky
You may want to look at the QSC plx line...fantastic with 7 series.
el jopez
Actually thats a brand I was going to look at. I've been following threads where several of you 7's people loved the qsc lineup; just pure mean power. I'd have to wait a while to look into it though. With rougher class schedules brings undesirable work schedules so earning the cash I was used to is a bit more complicated.
