Moderators dtel Posted March 9, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2007 If this is real it would be a good buy for someone in New York. Khorns, bin $1200 Look at the link below ( licebay ) ? http://licebay.com/moto/Klipsch.htm
Parrot
"Payment: Money transfer." Very suspect. The only money transfer I'd do is cash and carry. And, yes, even one little parrot can move a pair of Klipschorns by himself. eBay IDs are stolen right and left nowadays, so you just never know. These IDs are stolen from the phishing emails everybody gets. Update: definite fraud. If you copy the auction number and go to ebay.com, this will come up: Martin D35 1995 30th Anniversary Issue How did you get this auction? ben.
Interesting fake. How'd you find it? Check out where the browser would point you if you clicked on "View seller's other items" for instance. It directs you to email the guy. Here's the link to the auction ebay has under that number: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2F300083157408_W0QQfromZR40QQfviZ1&item=300083157408&rd=

Khorns, bin $1200 Look at the link below ( licebay ) ? http://licebay.com/moto/Klipsch.htm That's a new one. Appears this guy has created his own special fake Ebay site. That's not ebay you're going to when you click on the link. He must know that us stupido's post links on forums the world over. But we not so stupido today. meagain
Oh the famous 12S084 serial number pair. It's pretty pathetic these guys can't even change their scam to stop using the same Michigan pair from a year ago. There's khorn scams all over Ebay now due to the crazy high selling prices and those plain birch pairs going for over $4k. Scams were few & far between before x-mas. You'd think they could at least change the text of the add a bit? Yes, we KNOW the marks on top are light reflections.

Moderators dtel Posted March 9, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2007 I have E Bay book marked to come up with Forte ll's for the first page, and the other Heritage on top for easy checking of listineng when I clicked on Khorns It just poped up with the rest of the listings. The first strange thing I noticed was when you hit back after looking at it it would not go back to EBay, and the " view other items for sale " or any of the buttons want to email . Also the statement "Buy it now" was not where should be.
greg928gts
I don't know how he did that. If you do a search on ebay that listing comes up, but as soon as you click on it, it redirects to his webpage which is not ebay at all. Interesting. Guest " "
It's a fake website. The listing number brings up a guitar on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300083157408&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D300083157408%2B%2B%26fvi%3D1
Parrot
Speakerfritz, Have you by any chance read the posts above? Three people have mentioned the guitar already. Others have mentioned that it's a fake site. Tell us something new.
