seti
Looking for a good reliable source to buy tubes from. Any suggestions? I have had great dealings with Brent Jessie for NOS or near NOS tubes http://www.audiotubes.com/. He is honest and straight. Call him up and talk to him about what you want and you won't be sorry. For new tubes I use www.tubedepot.com .

Daddy Dee
Can't go wrong with Brent Jesse. One thing I've come to appreciate is how difficult it is to find reliable sellers, at least for vintage tubes. There is a world of crap for sale on Ebay. For current manufacture tubes, tubedepot.com has some of the best customer service I've run across anywhere in any business. They are good people. Tarheel
I have used tubedepot, dougstubes.com, thetubestore.com and recently ebay. A guy who goes by the name kkoran made a mistake on a 1953 rca tube I bought and sent it to the wrong buyer. To make amends he sent 5 nos tubes that I needed to retube my preamp at no additional cost. He has 100% feedback and I would trade with him anytime. Doug at dougstubes is a friendly guy with some good advice. He suggested I switch out my el-34s to kt-77s in the horn monos and he was right with that swap. Lucky I guess but I have liked all the above.
gailstorm9
Another good source is Jim McShane who is an audioasylum sponsor. Reasonable prices, good testing, very high quality standards, lots of knowledge and experience, will make suggestions and answer all questions, and a very nice guy to boot. http://pages.prodigy.net/jimmcshane/
