Doing the speakers first and then the amplifier is the right way to
go about it. There have got to be some people near you with a
300B amplifier that would either bring them to you or let you bring
your speakers to them. You can post at the following websites and
ask and see what happens. I don't know if Wright has a forum.

And I am sure there are others.

Not that I am proud to say I agree with Dean ...[:D].....but I usually hardly ever sit and listen........I tend to move around a lot.......and I seem to stand right in front of them more than anyplace else. They only LOOK big and bad. They are some of most controlled, detailed, and clearest sounding speakers I have ever heard at any volume. Yeah.....they sound good loud too. But I don't play them that way very much.

Not to stray from the topic.......George (Innertuber) I think you purchased a perfect matching combination of speakers, networks, network components, amps, and even tubes. I spent a ton of time and money figuring out those combinations. It was the best I could get out of that stuff, and still today I feel it is excellent.

I'm still really excited about it all. The Blueberry arrived last Sat., so I should be able to hook everything up this weekend. So far, I have been listening via a old Yamaha, then hooked up an Outlaw 2150 and the sound at any volume is just effortless and rich. The Outlaw lets Gail have some simple steps for CD's and FM. Guess I'll get a Giles A/B of some sort once I figure out what we really need. She's gonna get downgraded away from the KHorns this weekend tho for the VRDs. Shhhhhh, don't tell her. Thanks again Mark, I know you invested a ton of thought and other things which made it simple for me.
