joe gutowski
Hi, I wanted some feedback on the 79' model of the Cornwall1.Specifically if all is in good working order,is it the general opinion from the forum members that it really needs an upgrade to sound it's best or does the stock version do the job? Groomlakearea51
Other than new caps on the crossovers (and check the drivers since you will pop the backs anyways), they should do you right!!!
pmsummer
New caps in the XO, tighten down the drivers to the motorboard (or check for tightness), and enjoy one of the best speakers God ever told PWK to build (or anyone else for that matter). garymd
You'll find them to be wonderful "as is." They will certainly improve some with updated crossovers but the difference isn't significant. I didn't update my '80 Cornwall crossovers until 2 years ago and they sounded just fine before I did.
colterphoto1
I run all mine bone stock, have several pair from the 70's-sweet hardwood grain in that era.

oldbuckster
If the price is right .............. Do It !!!! .... If you want to go to a higher level, Crites Xovers and tweeter swap will take you there, if not, stock is fine too !!!!
