GLFMD56
I have seen many threads about removing the crossover from the square terminal cup and monting it to a board. My question is in regards to where is the best location inside of the cabinet. My thoughts were to mount it on the inside base of the cabinet making acessible from the front. I noticed that there is not much room on the inside base at the rear of the cabinet due to a baffle board or support brace. Thanks! Groomlakearea51
Remove it and the passive and stick it in there and see where it fits. On a Forte-I I was fooling around with, I tested a pair of crossovers from Popbumper and just placed them on the "floor" (used some velcro as a temp to keep them from moving around). Other question is.... do they need to be removed off the terminal plate?
fenderbender
I think If you already had it removed from the cup i.e. one of the terminals snapped off and need to be soldered back into place....but I don't think moving it would gain you any benefit??? jcmusic
In my Forte II's I put one screw in the base and never looked back. Jay
