  1. Got my new seats on Saturday! I built a quickie stage for the second row to get the feel of what height will be desired (current 11 inches), so don't mind the 2x4 feet; they are temporary.

  2. Chad, You should not feel weird about accolades from those you help. You successfully brought the Klipsch forum into the 21st century. We all needed that. You are deserving of the credit for the good work you've done. What we don't want is to have the threads concerning the forum to focus on the few negative things. Overall, it is exponentially improved here. This forum has been friendly to me for the most part, but I get an occasional slap on the wrist. If I focused on the slap and didn't remember the good, I wouldn't be here. You do the same. We like what you've done with the place! I would have sent this as a PM, but I really wanted to see you blush. PS: The Halloween outfit was awesome. I am very glad you didn't dress up as Flo.

  4. Your BM's ought to be worth a couple warning points at a minimum? Heck, if I got 10 points for discussing someone's ear lobes....

  5. Get a backup of everything before you turn it off again!!! There is a known problem with caps dying in the power supply of Dells of around that vintage. You might not be able to start it again. Ask me how I know! Yep, sure enough... found a couple of caps bursting at the seams in the power supply. Now I could have tried replacing them but that would have negated my excuse to buy a new computer. Besides, I had a good backup

  6. I have not been posting much lately, but by posting this want to point out that I have not forgotten you all. I have been a member for many years. In those years a lot has happened as it does in a life. I am glad you were a part of that and I that I was and still am a part of this community. I was helped out many times. For the old members; remember the MC30's scam I stepped into? Thanks to a bunch of Klipsch Comrades, you know who you are, I did get beautiful MC30's in the end. After that tubes, Scott 272, Mapletree Audio, Heresy's, records, a cd, two networks I still haven't installed and thanked the maker for, and best of all: laughter, friendship, grief and sadness and useful information, all shared here on the forum. So, here's cheers to all of us from my traveling friends, Molly & Dolly (the VW campers), and me! My John Deere clothing by Audionectar...

  7. Michael, Maybe Wake Junky can cut you some angled(wedge) blocks to mount on the wall and mount the RS62II's onto them. It would be a much cleaner/neater look. Like PSG did with his Heresy II surrounds but full length maybe. Bill I liked the idea. I put these together real quick tonight. Put filler in the nail holes so I couldn't paint them yet, but you get the idea. I will drill the mounting holes for the 1/4-20 bolts once I get to Youth's house next week to make sure they line up perfect. Sorry for cell phone pics... They will be held up by a French cleat made from leftover pieces when I cut the excess length off my rack.

  8. Electronic camera sensors? Bring it on. Don't you realize the potential to create mayhem by feeding them any sort of bogus data?

  9. don't know about the rest of you; but, i'm pretty much use to not fitting in. So, they made up a new category for us--that's a compliment, right? I mean, we can "say" it is a compliment.

  11. This issue isn't about whether GMO foods are safe or not. It's simply a matter of people knowing what they are eating and having the option to eat what they choose.
