  1. I don't want to say. But, it was either a home-theater, or a Corvette Z06.

I like their newest CD out of showbiz/symmetry after they ditched the radiohead producer and got a new one, they finally have their own sound on the album! ---------------- Their newest album is actually the one called "Absolution," and they have 3 different covers for it. It's their best one yet, for sure. Also, be sure to check out their unreleased tracks/B-sides album, Hullabaloo. I'm glad you like them, though! I'm just biting my nails here, waiting for them to tour LA!!!

This is an excellent anime. It came out in theaters around the same time as "The Incredibles," and so unfortunately, it was mostly overlooked by casual moviegoers. However, the story, characters, plot, and constant twists and turns make this film arguably better. An apocalyptic future, cyborgs, battle robots, lasers, really cute girls, and a truly intelligent storyline that echoes themes of "The Island" What more could you ask for??? Highly, enthusiastically, run-out-and-rent/buy-it-now recommended!!!
  4. Avenged Sevenfold "City of Evil" Hard rock/metal/progressive CD. Blindside "The Great Depression" - Heavy metal CD. Red Chord "Clients" - Hard punk CD.

I came across this while going thruogh downloads I had on a old hard drive. I really liked their version of "Domination" by Pantera, so went by Tower and picked it up over the weekend. I think that some of you classical guys might even dig some of these dark rhythms presented by four long haired guys playing cellos. BTW- Sounds Killer on my system!! For a listen: http://www.apocalyptica.com/releases/inquisition.php ---------------- GREAT recommendation!!!
  6. But you've still seen 75% of the world, Jim! And as they say, a well-travelled man is a well-educated man.
  7. Please, for the love of all that is good and just in this world, stop listening to the Yin Yang twins!!! Have you seen their place on MTV Cribs? Man, those guys are SUCH posers!
  8. Has anyone hit up the Bunny Ranch???

  10. Another DJ Shadow fan? AND you like DJ Krush? Damn Ken, we must be brothers from different mothers.
  11. Yo yo, Kyler, good to see you back again. I remember when you first came around, you were 16. Then you dropped off the face of the earth, only to return at legal-everything-but-drinking-age!!! Good stuff! Stick around.
  12. Any lady willing to put up with that kinda madness is a keeper in my book.
  13. Come on you guys...don't all be haters. I know some of you have some nice, high-end powercables.
  14. From what I know, silver incorporated in speaker cables are "brighter," but in interconnects, they are superior. I use a pair of Kimber Kable Silverstreak interconnects between my phonostage and preamp, and they sound significantly better (larger soundstage, better imaging, more refined dynamics) than my Nordost Solar Winds.
  15. Liberty Cables makes a THX-rated cable called the Ultracap. https://secure.libertycable.com/advantage/advantage.html?PHPSESSID=6665ee1a489d23e85f84f3455080bcba
  16. Wow, your sister got married in Romania?? Talk about memorable! That's really awesome, and congrats to her! I've still never been to Europe. I need to go. Amsterdam's first on the list!
  17. Go for the RC35. There's never any harm getting a larger center. You can always adjust it to match your mains, volume-wise. Plus, who knows...you may upgrade one day soon, and an RC25 would be left in the dust.
  18. Open "The Silent Hours" - Progressive, mellow rock CD. The Mae Shi "Heartbeeps" - Indierock CD. Deltron 3030 "Del Tha Funky Homosapien" - Underground rap LP. Murder By Death "Who Will Survive" - Rock CD. Funeral For A Friend "Casually Dressed And In Deep Conversation" - Punk/Emo/Goth/Speedmetal rock CD.

  20. My good deed for the day (yesterday) was when I gave a homeless man on the corner my Citizen automatic watch while stopped at a red light. I told him he should be able to get one or two hundred for it. Hey, I needed an excuse for a new watch anyway.
  21. If I could own only one pair of speakers, any brand, they'd most definitely be the Wilson Alexandria X-2's.
