Orlando had a FREE Blues B Q downtown and he was the headliner. I did upgrade and bought $45 VIP tickets which landed you right in front of the stage. [] Show was excellent, my ears are still ringing, but John is definitely showing his age (aren't we all). I'm glad to have had the opportunity to see him, as he's someone I've dreamed of seeing. The concert was strictly old school. No gimmicks, just a quick self intro, then an intro of the band, followed by an intro of each song. Some of the funny moments had nothing to do with him, but one was when I was speaking to a local cop doing security...I asked him if he ever heard of John Mayall....no.....This wasn't a young cop either. So, I told him that Mayall basiclly schooled many of todays blues greats and left it at that. The worst moment was when one of the event sponsers, a prominent ambulance chaser, got up on stage to do an intro for John May-Hall. A true fan there boy....I just had to shake my head.

Storage space is a premium, just like a submarine when it first leaves port. All the passage ways and every -n- cranny filled with fresh food, supplies etc. We may be sending up an empty MPLM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-Purpose_Logistics_Module on the very last shuttle fight to give some elbow room that not dedicated to racks of experiments. That flight hasn't been manifested though. After that, it'll be up to the Russians to be our taxi...but don't get me started... I did get a chuckle listening to the crew talk about the smell when opening up the NODE module, that we just sent up. That smell was clean unputrified air! I swear when we open the MPLM's upon their return....one can't begin to describe the foul funky fragrance...

Johnny take a look at this. What bothers me is, as ususal there's a divergent point of view by the talking heads. Some see the market crashing at 10,000, others see no end in sight. I see the market slowing down and the indicators saying we're waaay over bought.

I was a homebrewer BK (before kids) and still am at heart, Prolonged temperature for beer I would agree is bad, but a momentary flash freeze before consuming isn't going to kill it. Storing it at room temp for a reasonable amount of time, won't kill it either. Most ales are brewed at room temp, only lagers are brewed at lower temps ( 40 to 45 degreee range) due to the type of yeast involved. As a home brewer, when you're making 5 gallon batches, it usually doesn't sit around very long... LIGHT on the other hand, now that's BAD!!! Unless you happen to like skunk beers, then it's great!!! Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with doing what you're doing. I guess it all boils down to how long you expect the beer to sit around. Big keg or little keg. Few drinkers, or a party. Ale or Lager.

Just a note. You should never drink a beer that comes in a clear or green bottle.... Of course if you're not a beer snob, then have at it. Brown glass filters out the ultraviolet light that turns beer "skunky". Clear or green bottles do not. You know that skunky smell that wafts out right after you crack it....well that's why I swear that's how the lime in the bottle craze got started. Kind of like a French........well, you get the picture Don't believe it?? Try this, buy a bottle of heineken and a can of the same. Place them both outside in the sun for the day, before you chill them down. Now open them and compare. MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm, that eau de skunk fragrance smells delightful. [] Who's got a lime???

I ported a set. I wish I had the proper measuring equipment to provide a chart, but I don't, so this review is almost worthless. What I used was a JBL 2213H, which is the high watt brother to the JBL123A found in the JBL L100a speaker. The cabinet size 23.5 X 14.25 X 13.625 is very close to that of a Heresey 23.81 X 15.5 X 13.25 so I felt comfortable that it would probably work. I also used equivalent sized port that came out of the JBL L100...you can find these often on Ebay as well. My Klipsch K-22's were blown when I bought the speakers, so I was unable to do an A/B check. At first I let the JBL run wild as in the JBL L100, but later rebuilt the Klipsch crossover and that's the way I'm running them now. It does have some bass to it, but as I said, I don't have anything to compare it to, other than my La Scalas and there isn't any comparison between those two. Yeah, I know the Heresey, may dig a little deeper, but then there's nothing left to compare. You can get a set of the JBL 123's on ebay for $100, so why not try them out? You can always resell them. Just cut another piece of plywood that you can port in case you want to go back to the original. Or you could build the Tangents... I'm here to tell you that you that you have NO FREAKING IDEA how bad it can smell. A couple of missions back I was there as we opened the hatch to a returning MPLM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-Purpose_Logistics_Module . We had just cracked it open...and I mean a crack, when this "aroma" came wafting out. It'd literally take your breath away....and this was after doing a "purge" of the interior to rid it of known Formaldehyde and 'other' nasty things before hand. It was like if you opened a door, and there was a skunk on the otherside that blasted you as you opened it...except this didn't smell anything like a skunk...it was worse!! Much worse! We immediately stopped and didn't open it any more. Ended up calling in the Biohazard guys. After a couple of days they gave us the all clear to open it up, but it still STUNK. I mean,this was a smell like no other. There just isn't anything like it to compare it to. Not flowers, not dirty laundry, B.O,, Formaldehyde, sewer...nothing! When we finally went inside there was this mystery brown substance that had leaked our one of the returning storage bags and got all over. More samples were taken, and a week later they told us it was only coffee. I know NASA (never a straight answer) would never lie to us, so I have to believe them.......... I swear after hearing about the multiple toilet malfunctions, you have to feel for the guys (and girls) and want to send up a box of Dr. Scholls odor eaters so they can hang them all around the Station. The problem is, they don't know that they stink! It's the arrivng crew that gets a smack in the face when they open the hatch to come aboard...hold that smile!! Did you hear about Japanese mission specialist that wore his underwear for 30 days, all in the name of science? As you might guess, someone here on the ground gets to "investigate" those shorts.

Hopefully, it wasn't to your A/C unit...I had to replace two last year that spilled their guts.
