According to the information that I have, Phoenix should have locals in HD sometime this spring. If you have DTV HD equipment now, you can only receive HD networks (East or West coast) if your local stations allow you to (waiver). Local stations want you to see local advertising not N.Y or L.A.'s.

A few months ago I found a single KG4 on Ebay as well. After winning it with a bid of 78 bucks (bought my mains for $100 a few years back, and after a $20 diaphram fix I had my first real taste of non commercial line Klipsch!), I had a mounting issue above my 32" CRT. Fixed it by using a TV wall mount bracket. It works great this way and sounds so much better than the SC1 I was using.

Sorry for the slow reply... Take a look at ratshack.com for them as I'm not sure. Let us know how you made out. Also, don't forget to get a Y patch cable if you are going to use the L/R inputs on the sub...

I will be of course using this room to demo DVR with Tivo and DD 5.1 and also High definition and HD DVR with Tivo in DD 5.1. IT WILL NOT BE A HIGH END ROOM! HOWEVER, IT WILL ALSO NOT BE AT THE LOW END! There are plenty of custom HT dealers in the Birmingham AL. area. There are also, as you can imagine plenty of Wal-Marts here (HTiaB). I will post pictures soon so you can start brainstorming if you wish. If it takes a while for me to respond, it is because I am VERY BUSY and EXCITED about this project..

The audio standard for high definition television (as far as I have seen) is 5.1. After grazing at Best Buy yesterday for close to an hour ( not a complaint by the way), DVD movies and DVD music is 5.1 (with music DVD's having a 2 channel option). My questions... Why are HT receiver/prossessor manufacturers phasing out 5.1 and producing only 6.1 and 7.1 ? I have heard HT systems being fed a stereo signal and processing it into Pro Logic II and is the most annoying thing to me. Is a 5.1 source being processed into 6.1 or 7.1 going to be as bad as PLII ? I want to upgrade my HT receiver before I buy a HD television and it is slim pickings on 5.1 at this time.

They have a device that i guess kind of copies the smart sound concept of some tv sets. This might give you the results that you are looking for.
