  1. Has anyone else noticed that you can no longer search by area? IE: Chicago, Milwaukee, ect.
  2. How bout some Ray Charles ! A great way to say "thanks Ray". Or Joe Cocker. Two of my all time favorites.
  3. Replyed the first place that this was posted. Two more chances to read it, wow.
  4. Patrick, Good luck! Vg to mint are not easy to come by. If they are most likely a top price is in order. I have never stopped buying grooves, and see it comming to more outlets in my area. Good luck and enjoy!
  5. GOD SPEED RAY!!!!! A true artist if there was ever one. I see him in heaven with Stevie Ray and Muddy waters on strings. Alot of the greats are passing on, see those left while you can. The wife and I saw Joe Cocker in a small venue (1st row) last fall and it was awsome! See them now guys, once it's over it's forever.
  6. How bout SUE !!!! Worked for Johnny Cash.
  7. GOD SPEED Ray!!!!!!!! He will be missed. A truely great loss. May he tickle the ivorysin heaven, with Stevie Ray and Muddy waters on strings.
  8. NO THANKS!!!!! Nothing French for me! I am on the boycot France team. Royster
  9. Decware makes a tube output phono stage in kit form.
  10. I use them on all of my gear. They are supposed to atd in cooling, but the main improvemnt that I noticed was a reduction in microphonic's. Sonic Frontiers and a few other builders supply them as stock with there components. Hope that this help? Regards, Roy
  11. Nice Jeep! Enjoy and congrats!
  12. North east wisconsin her (Appleton) 425,000 home we pay 13,300 per year. Stae sanctioned blackmail in my opinion!! Royster
  13. I am a Lesbian!!!! And I like Jeeps!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL But all kidding aside, who cares what anyone else drives. Drive it because you like it, or it does what you need. MOST all of us have had a car that they drove ONLY because thats all we could afford. Honda, You are new to the site, show up here babbeling about how TBrenen should be banned from the site. Look closer to the top in this thread at YOUR profanity!!! Do you eat with that mouth? TBrenen, has contributed many good tips to alot of threads here. His input, although not always along the same line as others is of value! What have you contributed? This site is a great place for those of us who love audio, to converse with fellow audiofiles. welcome's all, as long as manners and some form of respect is displayed. Do you listen to Daddys system as well? Complete a profile at the minimum, before pontificating to the rest of us. One thing that the folks here share is the love of Klipsch products. If you have input that is constructive, please contribute. If not please at least pretend to be someone that does not ride the little bus. Sorry for the side track, but the old saying "young, dumb, and fuul of @#$" just came to mind. MOON, go get that JEEP!!!!!!!! Roy
  14. Tommy, I would stay with the MM type cart. The HK will work great with either cart. They both are fairly high output, with 47k setting. The Shure @$175.00 is about 40% less than new (a good deal) and they can warranty and service it. It never hurts to buy a good deal from your local shop (off sets the many hours spent looking and asking for free .I hope you enjoy the new toys. Regards, Roy
  15. There are alot of great units out there. The sure V15 is a good low codt unit, as well as the blue circles and a few others. Do you want to stay MC? If so low output or not. I am using the Lyra Helikon, and low it.t is a pricy option though. The Grad line has some real nice units for the cost. I think that the front end of a system along with the back end (speakers) are the most important part of the entire system. If you decide MM, I have a Grado Reference Platinum with less than 10 2 hours on it (back up unit) that I would let go for $150.00 Goodluck, hope this was some help. Roy
  16. I purchased a pair of AA networks from Bob. They sound great! He returned email and phone calls, and he shipped right away. I am a happy coustomer. I sent a number of emails to the ALK (6 over 3 weeks) folks, asking for price and delivery and NEVER herd back. Good work bob, you have earned my future pruchases as well. Roy
  17. Honda: Jump over to CONSUMER REPORTS. The Cherokee is and has been one of the poorest rated cars ever tested. I am a BIG fan or Jeep, Wrangler!!! As stated before, jeep ownership is like owning a Harley (the real thing not the AMC owned years). Soccar moms and yuppies are not the folks that Wrangler is targeted too. Nor will the Cherokee ever be accepted as a true Jeep. Have you ever been to a Jeep jamboree? 99% of the participants are Wranglers, with 1% Cherokee (need something to tow out of the mud, and off rocks) The orig Jeep had 2 seats, round lights and no top. The Wrangler is a modern version of that. But then again what do I know, I have only owned 8 of them over the past 22 years.
  18. I have a Alpine 7992 (flagship of the line) I have been real happy with it. Has telephone input from cell phone with auto mute whenincoming call. Can get on line price of around $550.00 Good luck in your search and enjoy the mini.
  19. The question was::::: Wrangler sahara or Rubicon input.
  20. Honda, Spoken like a true Cherokee driver. As Jeepster say. You wouln't understand " It's a Jeep thing"
  21. Tom, Wranglers have round head lights since 99.
  22. Honda, Read my post. The turning radius is a plus. It can also be a negative, as Wranglers have a small foot print. that combined with a hard turn at speed and you get to prove the rool bar strength. The wrangler can make a 180 degree on a 2lane road turn without droping a wheel off the pavement. It is not the same a the design on the Cherokee's. They have a much larger turning radius.
  23. When I hear Jeep I think WRANGLER!!!! The rest are AMC station wagons! We my wife and I currently own our 8th Wrangler. Some of the older modles were CJ series. I assume you are looking for Wrangler input. Well, let me start with the positives: Great turning radius will go anywhere you want four wheel drive Convertible and/or Hard top Removable half doors or full hard doors Great milage with the 4 cyl. 6cyl that has power and is rock solid Chicks dig them Is like owning a Harley, it is a lifestyle. Now the cons: See above. But really, the only con's we note is soft top gives lots of wind noise, and not safe for kids. We use ours as a 4th car now. They a a geat little buggy. Try to find one that is 1999 or newer, that was the last major redesign. Regards, Roy
  24. Artto, You have mail. Thanks for the offer and input. I have decided that this is something I am going to try. Now, I nee to find a belle or scalla, cornwall maybe. Regards, Roy
  25. Thanks guys, Just the kind of help I was looking for! I will not be going the A/V route. Been down that road before. I now have 2 systems, one for A/V and one 2 channel syst (my favorite). As I am a "OLD SCHOOL" kind of guy (accoring to my kids) I am looking to paint a larger sound stage than I currently am producing. I think that athe addition of a third mono block (for center chan) with the proper box is the way to go. Any techs here looking for a pay job to fabricate the box? I am thinking that the box Artto pointed out. Now just have to find the center speaker. regards, roy
