  1. Here's another. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/108761.aspx
  2. Here it is. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/108992.aspx
  3. Doesn't colter have an RC-7 that he's selling? You couldn't ask for a better seller.
  4. I was an early adopter and got a Blueray player as well as an HDDVD player. I've enjoyed them both. I mostly got it to compliment my 1080p display but appreciate the improved audio side of it more and more.
  5. SVS makes a great product at a reasonable price. It works well with Klipsch as others have stated. You'll be very happy with your purchase.
  6. Marshall, I wish you had taken some nice detailed pics of those ugly spray painted black II's. It'd be quite the contrast to what I'm sure the finished product will look like.
  7. You may be able to run one voice coil off each set of terminals on the amp. What are the VC's resistance? What is the amp rated to as far as it's Ohm rating (8, 4, 2?)
  8. I spent the 4'th of July watching fireworks on the beach where image 13 was taken. Image 20 ia about 15 to 20 minutes from my home.
  9. If they really want to see a disturbed area, they can come to my house.[]
  10. Day 5 with no electricity. I've seen trucks in the area but no juice yet. I've spent the last 2 days chain sawing trees out of my neighbors yard. I've got sore muscles that I've forgotten I had. Anyone need any firewood?????? Cheap...... The weather has been co-operating however. I remember after Rita, it seemed like all the Days were around 100 degrees. We've had 80's in the daytime and 60's at night. Absolutely beautiful weather for working in your (or your neighbors) yard. Some grocery stores and gas stations have started opening up under generator power. The lines are a little long but nothing unbearable. No post office or city functions yet. We're on the road to recovery but it's still a little bumpy. Carl
  11. As soon as our freezer food is gone, we'll most likely head to Dallas, where my wife went with her work. In the mean time, we're cleaning up. We hauled 6 wheelbarrels full of leaves out of our pool this morning. The weather is cooperating also. Mid 80's and overcast. After Rita we were without power for 8 days and it seemed like every day was at least 100 degrees. School has been suspended indefinitely. I've also heard that the Gulf coast region only has a 5 day reserve of gasoline. Only 1 refinery in our area is looking to start back up so I'm sure we'll see a jump in gas prices. Heck, I'd be happy to find a working gas station at this point. Carl
  12. Ike was a beeatch. My home fared well other than a leak in my oldest daughters room and downed fences and tree limbs in the yard. I'm up and running off my generator for now. 2 hours on and one hour off to save fuel and keep the freezer stuff cold. We currently have a water boil order and low water pressure. The city sewage treatment facility is running under generator power at much less than normal capacity. We've been told that it'll be about 3 weeks before power is restored and our entire town (100,000 population) is without normal electrical service as well as the outlying areas. There isn't as much damage to the power lines as there was with Rita but a bunch of transmission stations were (and are still) submerged. Looks like my 2 daughters and I will be camping out here at home till the food or gas runs out. See you during one of my next generator sessions. Carl
  13. It doesn't seem to have strengthened much or changed off it's projected path overnight. Less than 24 hrs till landfall.
  14. I've got my generator gassed up and everything from the yard is in the garage. Thanks for all the info. It gets tiring listening to the weather channel try to incite panic. I'd much rather get my info online without the hype. Hang in there Dave.
  15. My sub has abourt 25 liters of displacement, can I get in the party?
  16. Looks like it ticked a bit farther north overnight. We're on a mandatory evac. Carl
  17. The man who invented it is "not quite sure how it works". Gotta love it.
  18. That's odd, it's like they have 2 web sites.
  19. I like to think that the track will change as it gets closer. My house is in the middle of where the "cone of uncertanty" would be if it doesn't deviate from it's current path.
  20. Unfortunately a Houston evacuation GREATLY impacts our ability to evacuate even though we're 90 miles away (closer as the crow flies). Just the sheer volume of people that leave has far reaching effects on fuel, lodging and food for this part of the state/country.
