  5. Finally going to get some decent ones? Good on you.
  6. Had a great week finding bourbon. Picked up a Stagg Jr and a Weller Full Proof. Both at msrp.
  7. Nope. I mounted all the new caps on a separate board and ran wires to them last time I recapped an H2 with the round cup.
  8. Ok. Who noticed that the word "your" is on there twice. Obviously not the people that proofread the cup. Lol.
  9. I've never gotten any brand of gas grill to go more than 6 or 7 years here. Looking at the longevity that some have gotten im thinking my bad luck is mostly due to the constant 90%+ humidity we have here. Its 99% here now as i type.
  10. I have that pre in another system now and it's dead quiet.
  11. It was in the system but I think it was cabling or the amp. Whatever it was, its gone now.

  15. Really hurt his back trying to bust a grumpy.
  16. Neither. He tried to move the egg.
  17. Both my parents were in their mid ninetys when they passed so I tend to project out a ways when I think about retirement funding.
  18. I honestly haven't looked but guessing 2500 for me? Not sure on the wife either.
  19. Wife and I started IRAs in our 30s. We'll be fine when we retire. Max SS for me is 66 1/2 I believe but I'm not waiting till then to retire. Not sure what max pay out is.
  20. Really? Good luck finding a job with a pension in today's world. Im retiring in less than 2 years and have never had a job or worked for a company that offered a pension.
  21. Look at page 6 of the link. The plugs show you where to actually put the transformer. You can guess and guess or you can get a couple of their dummy plugs and figure out exactly where to put it.
  22. The plugs you use to troubleshoot are 10 or 20 bucks for the set. Worth every penny. This is a step by step process to identify the source of your hum. https://www.jensen-transformers.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/ts_guide.pdf
