  1. One more thing. From your receivers end, make sure you use the Pre OUTS. Not the RCA inputs! There's two sets of RCA's. One it out, and the other is in
  2. BTW, which ROTEL did you say you got again?
  3. There is no setting for em. Just plug in the RCA wires and you're goood to go! If you've done that, and don't get any sound, make sure you have everything hooked up right. I didn't have to do anything on my receiver; setting wise though........
  4. Let us know what you think once you get it all hooked up and calibrated!
  5. Your speakers will get plugged into the Rotel. Use the pre outs for the speakers on the back of the receiver, and plug them into the inputs on your Rotel. Make sure you plug the right ones into the right ones. I.E. right channel out on the receiver to the right channel in on the rotel
  6. I hear that man! Rachel's in school too................
  7. I truly believe I would benefit from adding a separate amp, even just to the front three speakers and let the Yammie only power the surrounds. Yes it would definitely benefit!!!
  8. Oh I'm sure it will! let us know what you think when you get it all hooked up........

Make sure you have your mains set to small in your receiver and put the receivers x over at 80 Hz. I can't promise you that this will fix the problem though....
  10. Thanks Fritz! Those are good prices..........
  11. For the surrounds get the RS 52's, or RS 62's.........
  12. That place your'e talking about is in Perdido Key, which is about a half hour drive from us................... We just might have to check that place out next! Thanks DTEL
  13. Yup, SS1's' on the sides, and B2's in the rear..............
  14. Is it worth something? I think it's worth framing it and putting it in a theater room
  15. I get those emails also. I just delete them, although, asking for a sample is a good idea..............
  16. Well, we all went out to dinner last night to a place called Peg Leg Petes on Pensacola Beach. Good time!!! We were literally 20' from the water, right in front of some live music, and the food was outstanding! Anyway, he did have quite a few questions about HT! I told him it's an expensive hobby, but he said, "well obviously, you're not going to find that kind of sound at Walmarts electronics section". So we'll see what happens. I told him to let me know if he wants to come over to the dark side, to let me know and I'll lead him in the right direction........ Bose of course. Anyway, while the guy was jamming away on his guitar, (the live music), our 2 year old decided to start dancing. It turned into quite the scene. Everyone was clapping for him, and cheering him on. And the "guitar guy" got some pretty darn good tips!!!
