Bought these recently and my Son wanted the receiver in his bedroom. I played these and they sound great but I have no SPACE to use them. Cabinet is acoustic eggcrate foam lined as called for in the design. Rear ports installed with Liquid Nails, sealed with 100% silicone. Pretty sure these were built by our own Jim

Its as new I am 2nd owner it works 100%, I was curious so I bought it off the original owner who moved up to pontus. Simply put it is a very good DAC but I prefer my Battery Dac for ease of integration into my system and they sound more alike than not to my old ears So: 625.00 plus shipping and any fees. I have the original box and packing that will be put inside a larger box for safe double box shipping to lower 48 states only, The DAC does not come new with manual it is available on the Denefrips web site. I found this LIE funny. A fellow forum member sent something out Priority Mail. Thats supposed to be a 2 - 3 day service......................He dropped the package off personally 2 days ago and so far no scan it still states awaiting package......................He goes by the Post Office to inquire and the clerk had the balls to tell him "It left, it will be scanned when it reaches the Destination" Apparently Covid has affected the Scan Tools................Or perhaps its the post offices way of saving a load of claims to get reimbursed for a product they sold and failed to deliver on The place is turning in to an absolute Joke on our wallets (Taxes)

I use a Crown XLS 1002 all the time, I use it on 99 Db Eff single driver speakers and it is DEAD quiet with the attenuators at 80 to 95 % up (depends on the music) I do connect it through a Tubed Pre. I only use the single ended ( RCA ) inputs.

There is a single center post in the rear you can catch a small bit of it in between the shelves, it looks like the drapes but I am pretty sure its the BB stacked like the front legs. Cool shelf though. I like my Mapleshade Samson its pretty similar to what you are building Joe

I might add that the Tubes used are all 6sn7, but you do not need a quad of matched tubes. The 2 tubes on the Right are Gain stage, and the 2 tubes on the left are the output tubes. I mention this because the need for a matched quad bothered me, only needing pairs is much more doable IMHO

The sound can be quite surprising, There must be a reason I continually revisit the EL84 Tube...............................If I could pull my head outta my A$$, stop buying and learn to be satisfied. I would stick with either of these they are very musical with a nice soundstage
