  1. Those are intended to be used with the Promedia speakers. They are only 16ga. I use DIY banana plugs and it works great and is EASY.
  2. I feel sorry for the poor guy who jumped in the tree or was that just a drill for you to retrieve tree food.
  3. Well for starters, since you still need to purchase your surrounds I would rethink the RS52, save about $300 and get the RS42. Your listening room isnt all that big. Is this a dedicated room/theater? I would have gotten the RC52 minimum. IMO the center is most important. Use the funds saved from the surround downgrade and put it toward a beefier receiver if you feel the 1910 wont cut it, or the sub. Just be aware, you will not gain much as far as volume going from 90 watts to 110 watts. Generally it is the processing and features that is better when you start going up in receivers. I think the 1910 would be fine in your smaller room.
  4. I knew I should have gone, I would have fit right in with that Motley Crew.
  5. ^ Nothing like a little Ron Burgundy to bring some humor.[]
  6. Well, my friend, I am going to assume that your post bashing has served it's purpose and will subsequently lock ALL these "never ending weapons" threads as you put it. Indeed your pin IS mightier than the sword. GOOD JOB. I apologize for insulting YOU.
  7. Noticed some Klipsch at the local Sprint store this afternoon. Looked to be from the commercial line.
  8. You probably could have fixed it yourself for 200.00 if you were really that attached to it. http://www.partstore.com/Part/Denon+Electronics/Denon/AVR3300/Denon+Electronics/Denon/1U31992/New.aspx
  9. Todd, I was going to make the same point. When I purchased my set, I knew I was going to have to have this for at least 10 years. With the way technology changes I didnt want to get a 2nd generation technology when they were already talking highly of 1080P(4th generation?).
  10. Do you already have the Denon 2500? If not you might want to wait a month or so and get the new bluray from Denon. I think it will be released in July.
  11. Never heard the new album but he was on one of the HD channels the other night and was unbelievable. Yeah it is another one of those "super" groups. Sammy Hagar-vocals, Satriani-guitars, Michael Anthony-bass (former Van Halen), Chad Smith-Drums (Red Hot Chilli Peppers). I was curious if it was any good, since I havent heard any of the songs yet.
  12. That's pretty good. Better than in my subscription of Electronic House. I think I have seen one HT featuring Klipsch, and I think that was the R62 package, in the 12 months I've subscribed.
  13. Joe Satriani. Has anybody heard the new Chickenfoot album?
  14. In a strange if but bizarre way, that's hilarious!!! Richard, is that mortar still in the back of your car? Just on the news down in the break room - man in Florida reels in live 8' missile and keeps it on his boat for 10 days... I see by Groomlakearea51's tag line he's no longer active in the Forum... hopefully only taking a break. I heard he went fishing AGAIN and found another missile. This one was ticking so he left it alone.[]
  15. Apparently alot of people liked the P250 looking at the user reviews. I will probably use this dealer. They seem to have some nice prices. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/51/products_id/52438
  16. I would just recommend putting the center channel below the TV if is going to be above the fireplace. With the center above the TV I would be worried about the dialog "going over your head". That would have to be close to a 7 or 8 ft. mount. Did I read you right?
  17. One thing restricting the price of the Ruger is that it only has one 10 round mag. I was living in Kansas City at the time I purchased it, and MO laws were 10 rounds. I am living in KY now, which is pretty open on the laws. Some good-ol-boy will want a 15+ round mag. I have talked with two dealers and they are both firm on $250.
  18. I may scratch the compact idea and go with the Springfield XDM. I went and looked at both the XP and XDM and liked how the Springfield felt. I can get $250 trade in on the P89, which isnt bad since it is 10 years old and I paid $300 new.
  19. Robert Plant has that covered
  20. Guys, thanks for all the info. I was not aware that the trigger-safety was a factor in the Plax Burress case, but will keep that in mind. My Ruger has a manual safety, and would like to get a gun with such since I am more familiar with it. One of my friends has a Springfield XD 40 and suggested it. Keep the thoughts coming.
  21. How was the recoil with the sub-compact and the .40? I have fairly large hands and am curious since you lose about a inch off the grip.
  22. I am in the market for a compact pistol that would be good for conceal. I currently have a Ruger p89, but feel it is a little bulky. I have been eyeing the Smith & Wesson MP compact. Any fellow gun owners out here with some recommendations and why? I am looking for either a 9mm or .40, just not a fan of the .45
  23. Use the dealer locator listed below. http://www.klipsch.com/where-to-buy/
