  11. those specs look like that of a workhorse, pretty nice. those maxtors 7200rpm? I like the 10,000rpm HDs. By the way what're your thoughts on the 6600GT? I'm gonna put together a system for my sister this summer, I like to do it your way too... buy the parts, and assemble it myself. Its definitely the bang-for-the-buck way to go.

  17. OT: you watched that episode with that lady in it? it was HILARIOUS!! She was a shocker, I couldn't believe her attitude and view towards everything. She bought a new meaning to being close minded. And on topic, Michael is still around. Got an email from him this morning.
  18. It could've been the truth, and it could've not but regardless if he thought he was fooling you he was just fooling himself. And at the end of the day one does feel happy about having done a good deed, thats the bottom line.
  19. Winamp, to me, has the best sound quality. I have 4 or 5 but I only ever use winamp, I just installed the others for a comparison. There are many add-ons you can download for winamp as well, just on winamp.com. Fun to mess around with. But I think the EQ in media player goes lower than Winamp's but you can download add-ons to fix that. When I sometimes just plug my earphones into laptop for a listen while at the library or a study room I like using the EQ.

    Audio PC project

I hear good things about the M-audio's audiophile soundcard. Or as Who states, try a good DAC into a good pre. Either of the option should yield good results.
  21. Try using a combination of cola and green tea for braising and soaking woodchips . It adds a great flavor . I got the idea from Iron Chef Chen , from the Pork Battle episode . "He won" thats a great show! I have to say, my fave is Sakai
  22. The seller got back to me again with the model info, they were '90 Heresy II. Oh well, on the bright side its $50 I can save towards a better used TT once summer approaches I'll get back in the line and wait for my turn to score cheap Klipsch.
