  1. Please let me know if you didn't get the PM. Jeremy
  2. That's a trio many could be envious of. I would have a hard time choosing which to listen to, but it sure would be fun! Jeremy
  3. Sounds like you have your priorities backwards []
  4. I had it bookmarked and my link no longer worked. I usually check the site every few days and it's definately new. Looks nice a little simpler and cleaner. I may be one step closer to ordering a BBX if a sale goes through today. Jeremy
  5. Hey Scott, I couldn't get pm's to work so I sent you an e-mail. Thanx! Jeremy
  6. I believe the Synergy line is sold exclusivly at Best Buy. So if they don't have it you only hope is Klipsch on-line store, or keep your eyes peeled here for used or Flea-bay. If BB could get those wood veneered Synergy's i'd be there in a heartbeat. Jeremy
  7. It's a suprisingly musical sub. Don't own Scalas, but I imagine it would mate well. It sounds nice with my JBL c-38's. I also use in home theater with (4) RF-7's. I think the Titanic is very versatile and a steal at $587 with free shipping. Jeremy
  8. Hey Scott, great offer. Please put me down for batch #3. If that's gone i'm also interested in batch #4. This is a great idea. I thought about gathering my doubles and doing the same. I unfortunately also have a large pile of "gay party" albums. Jeremy
  9. Just wanted to let you all know that Parts Express has their Dayton Titanic mkIII 15" sub kit on sale. This is a very good sub for the money. I have two of them and really enjoy them. Here's the link. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-764 Jeremy
  10. i meant the silkscreen they sell its only 11X17 as opposed to normal poster size of like 24X36 Drowning Creek does lots of concert and festival posters. Most concert posters are smaller than the "normal" 24"x36" posters. I have quite a few concert posters and most are rather small compared to movie posters or other pop art. Jeremy
  11. Can any of you guys with a 12" arm board tell me how wide it is? I currently have a 9" arm board for my TD-124. I'm planning to make my own plinth based on the design that Mike has shown above. Then i would like to get a dust cover made. I want to make sure that my plinth is wide enough to account for a 12" arm just incase. There was a long thread on Audiogon that talks about making your own heavy plinth. I can't seem to find it now. Jeremy
  12. How would this translate into round ports? I may build a cornscala , but narrower and taller. If I do, a couple 4" dia. ports would be easier than trying to build a shelf with the same surface area. Jeremy
  13. Klipsch ordered 1000 posters, for premium give aways. Hopefully not to sell for less than the 40 signed and numbered prints that I just bought. There are also some artist prints. But those 40 s/n prints are the only ones available to the general public for purchase. I've been following this thing for months. I'm curious to see what Klipsch does with their 1000. Jeremy
  14. I can't hear sh!t, so i'm glad my Klipsch speakers play so darned loud! [] Jeremy
  15. I ordered a couple posters the day they went on sale. It was on Oct 19th I believe. They should be here any day now. I was not gonna let the cat outta the bag until I had them in my hands, but it appears the cat's out! Better hurry, the posters will go fast (only 40 available). http://www.drowningcreek.com/00_main_frame/00_main_frame.html Jeremy
  16. Here is my take. The digital signal is just a tiny electrical signal traveling through the metal traces on the circut boards in side your source. Digital coax is a metal cable, where as optical is plastic, or glass. In order to use optical the tiny electrical signal has to be converted to light in a tiny little converter about the size of a sugar cube. Then after it travels through the optical cable it has to get converted back to an electrical signal again. So my opinion is why go from electric to light back to electric again, when you can go electric, electric, electric with digital coax. Also the durability issues need to be considered as mentioned before. I don't think there is any noticeable difference in quality of signal transfer, it just comes down to cost, durability, and Rf issues. Oh yeah, I think those Toslink connectors suck compared to RCA. Did I make any sense? These are purely my opinions, so feel free to disagree. Jeremy
  17. This would be quite a boring world to live in if we did not have differing opinions. Jeremy
  18. I like big speakers for surrounds. I run RF-7's in front and back. It's killer for 5.1 music. I would buy Mahogony KLF-30's just to have them. I have lusted after that combo for a long time. Good luck. Jeremy
  19. I'm not saying it is or is not true that they can pick up vibrations, but why would it matter if it's up or down. I mean if it's hinged to the plinth then it would pick up vibes either up or down, right? So by that theory a dust cover should be removable to avoid any chance of vibration. I've never run into this problem with cheap tables, and my Thorens does not have a lid, so this is all new to me. Thanx for the heads up! Jeremy
  20. The parts are worth more than $660 if that's for the pair. Buy them fast, or tell us where they are at so someone can rescue them. Jeremy
