I'll see the thread there, But while I'm already here I'm going to go ahead and give you a big ole "ataboy!" I have visited your site before and was very impressed at the level of great planing, superior execution and awesome craftsmanship. I am green with envy.... not of the feature article, but of the ablity of walking downstairs to enjoy a great HT that puts my modest 'entertainment-center' to shame Congrates! -
I got an old polk center that I'd gladly trade for a RSW-12..... j/k, best of luck

Congrates on getting the new Sony!

Cali does that to you Cal... in the rest of the world, 1/2 mil will get you quite a bit more then your typical 'stater' home, lol. In my 'hood', lil 1600 sf brick ranchers tucked amongst newer 4-6000 sf homes go for $200-250k with the newer, bigger homes in the $500-$1m btw, I like the Denon... and Pioneer recievers

What do you guys use for on-wall speaker wire clips?

^^ Good idea -
Pretty much word for word what I was going to say... Though I would simply rent a concrete saw on toss a conduit and box in myself... just in case I wanted to pull a few extra wires in for something in the future

How funny... I actually thought your first post was negitive and desirving of Carl's tongue-in-cheek reply, But then that's the difficulty when dealing with written communication... there exists no tone-of-voice, facial expression or body language to tip you off to genuine inquesitiveness, sarcasim or negitivism Anyway, I have my RB35s sitting on stands because of "space constraints"... when I bought them I had intended on soon moving them to the rear after buying RF35s for mains. Our room configuration changed leaving me with no room for rear speakers and I like the RB35s and the custom stands I made for them more then I want to replace them. My wife agrees, lol Life is good.... and a series of compromises

I leave my sub on all the time and let the 'auto-switching' do the work when it senses input... However, on those occasions when either there is a power failure or my wife 'manually' turn the sub off, about 5-10 seconds later, it lets out about a 70-75dB 'thump'

I enjoy driving my Petrol Burning full size pickup almost as much as my full size SUV... even more so when I'm the only occupant oh, and I sometimes even stop by Target for a CD... I'm such a dope

Need a A/V stand to hold 60" SXRD Sony with a RC-7 below

not a 60" SXRD Here is what I did.... Red Oak with 1-1/5" thick top shelf that will easily hold dang near anything hidden casters for easy access to connections -
^^^ That's a couple years minimum... I think that's a lot of depravation to suffer through, go ahead, get out of the penalty box and treat yourself. I went from a 27" to a 42" RP in my tiny room with seating distance of 6-8', the transformation was amazing...

Call me 'cheap' all you want, because I am... if I wasn't, I wouldn't bother with ebay at all. Instead, I have often bid low in hopes of winning a bid on something that I want... When I shop on ebay, I consider ANYTHING over 75% of what I would pay at a brick & morter to be a rip So I am in agreement and simply don't care what names I'm called...

I use clip-shh

I built my own from red oak with heavy duty casters... VERY heavy duty and extremely stable yet easy enough to roll out for cleaning or when wanting to switch connections and/or equipment

Thanks for the info Ear, and thank you all for the pipe organ music recommendations... I amy have to sample some next time I want to demonstrate to my wife how disappointing my old SW-10 really is... of-course I have to work on getting her to move from her favorite seat which in my setup is not the best "listening-position" but does happen to be the best spot in the room to hear and feel the bass
