Hey, no problem. I knew what you were getting at as far as the anti-sway bars. The springs on a stock GT convertible are 450 lb/in (I think). As far as I know the Tokico ones I installed are about 600 lb/in. So, they're only about 1/3 stiffer than stock. It by no means is a stiff ride. I guess I'm experiencing faster turn-in and more control in the corners which gives the feel of a flatter cornering response. All I know is I really like the car now. [Y]

Um, the suspension components are stiffer than stock and the ride height being lowered causes the suspension to have less range of travel and the center of gravity of the car to be lower to the ground? Well we finally got our day of fishing in. Started at one lake and only caught 1 nice sunfish so we drove to a different lake that has a dock that extends about 100 feet into the lake. We fished there from about 5pm until 9. Caught 14 more nice sunfish that we kept plus dozens of small ones that we threw back. My wife won't take a fish off her hook or bait her own hooks either. We could have probably doubled the amount of fish we brought home if I didn't have to stop every few minutes and help her out. But, when it comes time to fry up the fish that's where she shines. I guess we complement each other very well. I catch 'em and clean 'em and she fries 'em up. She said we'll have a nice fish fry for the 4th. Nothing like fresh fish to make a great meal! We had some nightcrawlers left and I tossed a couple in the lake and saw the fish devour them instantly. There was a family fishing at the other end of the dock that was using corn as bait. I asked them if they wanted the rest of our nightcrawlers and they looked like I was handing them a $100 bill. They thanked me about 10 times as we were exiting the fishing area.

Definitely. Much less body lean in the corners. Bumps are controlled very well and there isn't a floaty feel like before.

No fishing for us! I forgot that my parents still had my fishing equipment from when they went to a cabin a while back. They're out of town this weekend so I wasn't able to get any of it. I called a few friends and it sounds like we're going to re-schedule for tomorrow.

Well, yesterday was a lot of fun. Sorry Patrick, I didn't see your advice soon enough and ended up buying 6 yellow and 6 pink roses. I know my wife really likes roses even if they don't last as long as other flowers. We took the Mustang to the Twin Cities and shopped all day and then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for supper. Excellent food there, and we had an entire huge round table in the corner to ourselves so it felt very intimate even though it was packed. We're going to go fishing today and probably tomorrow too. It was nice having the past week and a half off of work to just relax and have fun.

If they're KLFs they're KLF-10s. the 20s and 30s had a horn tweeter and squaker and dual woofers. The ones in the ad have a single horn and 2 woofers.

RC-7 will be your best bet unless you plan on 'upgrading' to RF-83s in the very near future. If not, RC-7.

I haven't washed the Mustang since I got it over a month ago. I'll wash it either today or tomorrow and then take some pics. My wife said I never get her nice flowers for our anniversaries. I was recently eating one of those Dove chocolate squares that have the little messages inside them. Living in a city that had an Audio King/Ultimate Electronics for many years that was a Klipsch dealer I wouldn't be surprised if some Klipsch speakers showed up at garage sales around here from time to time. Guess I'll have to start stopping at them now!

80Hz is the THX standard. Since that isn't available I'd try 100Hz. Anything much higher than that and the result will be boomy bass (almost getting to mid-bass) and the sound coming from the subwoofer will be much easier to localize.

Forte IIs de-throned RF-7s at my house. They also get the nod over my best friend's KLF-30s. Personally, I love 'em!
