Because then the subwoofer handles frequencies below 80Hz which is what it is designed to do. 👍 -
80Hz is recommended 99% of the time.

Yes, it’ll be fine. Don’t worry about trying to make them 8 ohms.

I know at least a couple different Klipsch models from over the years have that variation. My guess is slightly different methods of testing the impedance and/or marketing.

Could be the woofer itself.

Those are for sale near me. Originally they had them listed as a Klipsch prototype speaker. 🙄

There is a row of three in the ceiling right in front of the tv planned on facing towards seating are, two midway through the room left and right in the ceiling and then 2 more at the back of the room left and right.

In-ceiling are perfect for Atmos but awful for main, center and surround channels. In-wall are significantly better if you want them hidden as much as possible. -

Lots of stores didn’t care about matching them up when sold, especially raw unfinished models since they didn’t have veneer that matched up anyway.
