That only makes sense. Why should some one get money and keep the merchandise. Any one could lie to Paypal and say it arrived broken pay up and just be making the whole thing up out of thin air! Not accusing you[] J.

I use OxyBurst in the kitchen and Oxy Carpet Cleaner that has 3M Stain Protector built in. I do not have any records but would not use it on something it was not intended to clean by the manufacturer's. The 3M engineer's are geniuses and know what something is good for and what not. Plastic records are not made of Wool. It would be far easier just to not eat cereal around your records or keep them in their covers when you are eating. J.

FIVE PAIRS OF SPEAKERS! I don't get it I guess. Does he have a pair in every room (including kitchen and bathroom??) This reminds of sometimes you hear of guys having several cars some needing one thing some needing another part or broken done to them and lucky if one or two work right[] I love my Heresy (I) but 2 is all I need I don't collect speakers. But whatever makes you happy if your not hurting anyone I guess. J. -
Why do I ALWAYS have such bad luck?! :'(

tpg said: "My parents think I am the one with the problem and that the amp is fine. My mom, being the irrational and often very rude person she is, even went so far as to yell at me about it telling me " always do this" (find fault with things I buy, she means). Now, this is true to a degree- I often find fault with things I buy. BUT, I wouldn't find fault with anything if things I bought would just have been built correctly in the first place!" Remember that one of the Ten Commandments states that you must honor your mother and your father. If you happen to actually be smarter than your parents (like every teenager thinks[]) then be patient with them. They brought you in to this life and deserve your respect. If you happen to be less smart than your parents, then consider how you must appear to them when you are throwing a temper tantrum. All through life you will find people of all stripes and sizes but you will never find anyone who loves you like your mom!!!!!!!!!! J. -
mdeneen said: "You can take a ball peen hammer to a PAS3 tube and probably not get a ping because the amount of NFB in the circuit damps this out." I've read about "breaking in" tubes before but isn't this extreme?[] J.

I think your correct that you have no idea what your doing[] And Triode is correct that you need to grow up[] You are all over the place from mini's to Cornwalls to wierd audiophile brands. How are we supposed to tell you what to buy when you don't have a clue what you want???? I agree that Heresies are a great choice but if you want mindless bass thumping like rap music I'd go with something at WorstBuy instead[] J. -

That is good! Hard work and thriftiness are virtues. Regards, Julie -
I mean 4 Heresies compared to 2 Cornwalls[] J.

What would this sound like compared to a Cornwall? Julie

Of course those are vertical!!! If you put them down on your sides, they'd be wider then they are tall and the two top horns would then be vertical. The big woofer on the bottom since it's round would look the same irregardless of orientation. The wood is pretty but who wants to watch a woofer???? I'm glad to see that Gilbert after all his posturing is taking my advice and being more carefull with his $$$$. That's almost enough for a tube, Gilb [] J. -

Thank you. So this is real wood? If I am correct Klipsch started with wood, then metal then plastic (currently)? Does wood sound better everything else being equal? I have only Heresies but I am intrigued at Belle or Klipschorn. -
Okay what do these graphs/figures mean? Are they good? Should they be perfectly round or smooth or ?????????????????

Now I get the critically vital warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to build an amplifier when it is plugged into the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys always assume we know everything, but we don't, we just know ALMOST everything[][] Jules -

I want to to use this opportunity to thank you to Erick for his encouragement of me in assembling my own amp. . . . . I have never soldered before but really had no problem other then putting a scorch mark in my workbench-top. It is two amplifiers for depending on my mood.
