Well that's the last time I move the Big Green Egg up onto the deck by myself!

Been raining here off and on for over two weeks. Nice and green! Off to the chiropractor for the third visit (lower back pain). Kills me getting in and out of the Bubble so I'm taking LF's SUV. Usually one visit and rest takes care of the problem but not this time. Maybe third time is the charm!

Per the description...."natural lump charcoal made from 100% oak or hickory, and contains no fillers, nitrates, chemicals, limestone, or treated wood". More expensive yes but it's what we use. My concerns are the charcoals you can light with a match and what the chemicals that allow that add to the smoke/flavor of the food being cooked. But again the OP was asking about gas grills.

dirtmudd suggested that I have a Green Egg (which I do).. My photo was to clarify that Green Eggs use charcoal not gas.

I think (hope) I'm done climbing ladders onto the roof at my age (72). Those asphalt shingles are unforgiving when you take a spill. Won't tell you about the time I tried to make a 13' ladder reach the lower gutter (16') by putting in on top of cinder blocks!

They were family and you were their pack member......it's never easy. I jumped right back into the saddle and found another Norwich Terrier. Not necessarily the best move for everyone but Swanky is filling the huge void as well as it could be filled. Each dog lost takes a part of your heart with them. My best to you Tim........

Speaking of knives I just bought two knives I saw in an add. Impulse buy for sure but at least it wasn't more stereo gear. For lunch......Mahi on brioche buns with a little sauce. Eating light for dinner this week.....wedge salads....that's it. "So now you know the rest of the story"
