  1. Welcome Amos. No labels or stickers anywhere? Is that a logo on the grill on top of the left speaker? I am sure someone here can identify them.
  2. I still remember Neil Sedaka singing "Where the Boys Are" (a Connie Francis song) on American Band Stand and thinking somethings wrong with this picture[*-)]
  3. "Short people got no reason to live". "They got little hands and little feet.....they drive little cars that go beep beep beep" Always thought Newman was underated.

I like Tom Waits as well but Diana is much easier on the eyes[] Someone here use to use her "Live in Paris" cover as an avatar......can't remember who but don't think they post anymore or have changed their avatar.

  19. Well I would but I am real busy deciding what equipment I will put in the new music room in my new house once I win the powerball drawing tonight. Thinking about those Ayre MX-R mono blocks machined out of 75 pound blocks of aluminum pushing a top of the line AR tubed preamp powering my three Jubilees. Stuck on the TT but thinking a VPI TNT with a Clearaudio Goldfinger might be nice.
  20. Why do you want to go messing around with something like that? Want to hear a good preamp come on over and listen to my QS Audio preamp. Its already soldered all up and ready to go. One more thing.....keep that bottle of scotch away from the soldering iron.
  21. Welcome to the forum Lukezter. How many watts huh? Well Bluesboy use to DJ some parties and dances in big halls with Cornwalls powered with Phase Linear amps. The amps would be clippping with the red lights flashing and the Cornwalls went right on making music. Abuse? You bet...but the speakers took it. The Cornwalls will sound really good on a handfull of watts preferably from a tubed amp. We have a couple of guys here who make some fine amps I am told or you could go the vintage route. Tell us about your equipment and room size and we can get some opinions before the evenings over.
  22. Make that three of a kind [:^)]
