  1. Congratulations. You would be very happy with your Ultras, they rock. Proper calibration for these speakers is very important.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  2. It's true that Panamax sell those cheap power strips, which are unable to regenerate AC power, filtration of power, isolation of components, balancing power, etc. However Panamax does build some excellent AC Regenerators. I personally use the 5510 ACRegenerator, and it works fine in protecting my equipment and noise filtration. www.panamax.com/products.cfm?group=1&sec=detail&id=260&ly=h I also use Panamax UPS 1500 for protecting the lamp in my projector from power outages, so it can complete the cooling process when there is a power failure. www.panamax.com/products.cfm?group=1&sec=detail&id=259&ly=h
  3. This is a very useful link, thank you. I would wait a couple of months to see how the format war is going. I dont want two more players using space in my home theater cabinets. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  4. Chronicles of Riddick has very good deep-bass action scenes.
  5. Congratulations. I am also very happy with my Marantz receiver. How does this receiver compare to the SR9600 as both have 140 watts per channel?
  6. For my outdors I use Klipsch CA-800T, they sound awesome and are very resistant.
  7. I love watching Entourage Sundays. Is funny, great party's and great girls.
  8. I don't know about the SR7500 or Onkyo. However I had the SR8500 and it was a great receiver, I was very happy with it. I was so happy with my Marantz receiver tha after a while I upgraded to the SR9600.
  9. I use de Klipsch CA-800T for my outdoors and they sound sweet.
  10. Very good review... and I am also enjoying very much my Klipsch speakers and subs.
  11. You can also try de Marantz SR 8500, its an awesome receiver and its THX certified. I had this receiver before I bought the SR9600. Both are really good.
  12. RichardP, congratulations!!! You would be very happy with your bass for quite a while!!!
  13. Colter, for blowing away your friends with your awesome Ultra THX Subs try playing Troy, at the beginning of the movie. The drums and music is just incredible.
  14. Thank you Bill, however after reading the information I still can't figure out which one of this receivers is better, or if both are almost the same.
  15. If you have a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and Direct TV in channel 79 HDNET you can record a free, simple and effective calibration monitor/screen calibration method. It will take you only 30 minutes. They air this method around once each month.
  16. Anyone knows which receiver is better: Marantz SR9600 or Onkyo TX-NR1000? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  17. It works just as books, not necessarily the bestsellers are the best literature. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  18. Thank your for all your responses. I do have a room just for my home theater. I did buy the KL-650's, 4 back and surround speakers (KS-525) and 2 kw-120 Sub's with the KA-1000 amp. . The electronics I am using is an H79 Optoma proJctor, a Marantz 9600 receiver, a Tivo HD HR10-250, a Marantz DVD player, and all hooked with Monster Cables. I am really happy with the equipment. My dealer did calibrated the equipment. I asked all of you the question, as in my country there is no much options to choose as up there in the US, so I did wonder if I have done the right thing.
  19. I just bought a complete set of Klipsch THX Ultra 2 for my Home Theater. In my opinion they sound great, being the 2 subwoofers and its amplifier which I like more. My question is how do they compare to other similar thing you can find in the market. Do you think I did a good buy or I could have done a lot better at that price range with other brand or model?
