  1. Ya, circuit city has them, but there setup is HORRIBLE! If you can get a sales person or the manager to setup the HK's that would be the way to go. I also would like to add like everybody else has said, If you want to buy any equipment you need to audition them first. If you can get an hands on perspective you can really tell if it's the one or not. Thats my recommendation.
  2. I don't know where you've heard that Pioneer recievers delay with a big screen, but It's not right. As far as I know pioneers don't do that. If I were you I would go with the Pioneer VSX-1015TX because it is an awsome 7.1 channel reciever with 120-watt per channel. The harmon kardon AVR635 is twice the cost as the pioneer and it only has 75-watts per channel. Plus, the pioneer VSX-1015TX has a bigger range of sound and nearly the same distortion as the harmon kardon. Don't even get me started on the panasonic. I think that you would be very pleased with the pioneer VSX-1015TX.
  3. No, I have the SF-3's not the F-3's. The sf-3's were the line of speakers before the f-3's came out. Heres a picture of the sf-3's.
  4. Does anybody know if best buy will ever get the rf-83's in or any of the reference speakers?
  5. I would highly reccomend the S-3 as you have done for the side surround's. You woud like it all to sound like theey match and look like they match. Thats what I would do.
  6. I also have the Sub-12 aswel as the SF-3's (which by the way I got the last pair at best buy for just $200 because it was discontinued.) ILet me just say that it has been the best sub I have heard in most of the audio stores I have been to. At 24 Hz it's awsome! I have a question though, I don't quite know how to set my sub to match my SF-3's or how to set the phase level. I know I sound like a newbee, but this is my first sub, so get off my back! Any help would be appreciated.
  7. When you get the time to do that, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
  8. Wicked! ..... those are Awsome! If you can find any more like those please tell!!!
  9. I haven't heard the 54's, but I would VERY VERY VERY much reccomend that you should get something that you have heard yourself. I learned that the hard way.
  10. Which subwoofer did you get with it, the KSW-10 or the KSW-12?
  11. Well, I saw a pair of B-3's being used on the NS24b's with no problem and I think that the b-3's and the RB-75's both weight the same or near the same weight. But, just for safety I would go with the Bello SP224 speaker stands just in case, plus they look better too. I wouldn't pay over $ 150 on a pair of speaker stands in my life. Plus, would just sit my center speaker ontop of my TV anyway's. Thats just what I would do.
  12. If you are on a tight budget than I would highly recommend may by a set of Klipsch SF-3's. It has tremendous power and is very cheap for such great power. You can get them from an internet web site (A pair) for $ 300 or less. I know atleast 10 sites that sell SF-3's for that price. Specs: 600 watt each (2) 8" woofers and an 1" tweeter (Horn) 5 way binding post Dimentions: are around 4' tall and 10" wide and 18" deep. Heres a picture of them if you are not familure with them.
  13. Heres a link from someone on the klipsch forum that is wanting to sell his sws sub. Hope this is what you wanted! http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/583328/ShowPost.aspx
  14. My bad I thought that you were talking about the svs subwoofers. We all make mistakes sometimes.
  15. I think you mean your wanting to get an SVS Sub not SWS. PIC's.
  16. Anybody have any FLUANCE speakers, particularly the AV-BP 2's? If you do, could you tell me if they are any good or not. Here's the link... www.fluance.com
  17. If you love bass I would go for another RSW-12. Thats what I would do! Hope you like your choice!
  18. My three favorite BASS song's are . WILUUU from the Silent Hill 2 Soundtrack . UNLEARN by Psykosonic fron the Mortal Kombat Soundtrack . SICKNESS UNTO FOOLISH DEATH fron the Silent Hill 3 Soundtrack (THIS IS THE BIG ONE!!!!!) All of the song's from the Silent Hill Soundtracks are great and have ALOT OF BASS!!!!! If you didn't get the chance to play the game DO IT!!!!!!!!!! There all the best horror games for the PC, PS2, and the XBOX. Silent Hill 3 PS2 Game Silent Hill 3 Soundtrack (The best One) (The Best One)
  19. If you are willing to spend $ 95 I would recommend that you get the Sanus NF-30 at Best buy. (www.bestbuy.com) I got a first hand look at these babbies and let me tell you THEY ARE AWSOME! These are great because you don't have to fasten your speakers to it, because of the four little pegs on all four corners of the stand. They are extremely strong and well built. These are well worth your money. If you don't get these you are going to have to use velcrow or something to keep the speaker on the stand. (I don't recommend that you do this) Post me back what you chose. Hope this helps!!! Heres a picture of them.
  20. This is the only solution that I could come up with. Your subwoofer cable is probably not pused in all the way. So, if that is the problem sinply push it in harder. If that doesn't work, you might want to try another Subwoofer cable if you have one or you can pick up a crappy one at radioshack for about $ 5 - $ 10. Wright me back and tell me if it worked or not. Hope this helped!!!
  21. It's pretty obvious what the problem is. The problem is most likely the port rattling since it is comming out of its original spot. The solution to that is just like you said. Just glue it back on, it wont hurt anything aslong as the glue doesn't touch any major parts like the amp or something. The screw might be rattling aswell, but I rally dought that is your problem. Once you glue the port back on it should stop that rattling sound. Post me back if you fix it. Hope this helped!!!
  22. I went through with the same problem of desiding on what sub to buy that would match my SF-3's. I went to Alterman's Audio to look at there RW-8, RW-10, and the RW-12. They were very nice and I wanted to get the RW-10, but I thought that it would be better for me to keep everything Synergy series. So I got the Sub-12 at Best Buy for $ 485. MAN ITS GREAT!!!!! Thats just what I did with my system. In your case I would try to keep everything Reference. I think that you should get the RW-10. It would match your RB25's perfectly. Plus, if it is only $100 more for the RW-10 then I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Please let me know what you decide on what your choose. Klipsch RW-12 Klipsch Sub-12
  23. I just bought a Klipsch Sub-12 and I need a subwoofer cable, but I don't know which one I should buy. I was going to get 12' Monster cable U2 Sub600 cable for $ 60 at best buy or I could get a 16' Monster cable Sub1000 for $ 80 also at best buy. Which one is worth the money? Is there any better 12' cable by monster cable that I can get at a local best buy store? Sub1000 U2 Sub600 By the way, what is the difference between a subwoofer cable and a subwoofer interconnect?
