DIYers, I got a cary 300B SEI on a loan from a friend.The amp havent been turn on in a while,and as soon as I turn it on the fuse blown.I decide to try it a few more times with new fuse installed and the new fuse blown everytime I turn the amp on..any advice what's going on here? thank you tom

Jay, supposely as the vinyl spin inside the acrylic/plastic enlosure.it will build up the statics and cause tick/pops.

Why dont you list them on audiogon for a local pick up only.all klipsch eventually will be sold on audiogon.it might take longer than a month,but the listing is only 6 bux...dont part it out..

dtel, it appear to me that the dustcaps on the forte's PR are for cosmetic purpose only.inside the caps,there is a round piece of metal about a size of a quarter in the center,and there are no connection between the caps and the center.thank you everyone for your help. tom

Klipsch Fans, I just found out that the passive woofer on my forte(both of them) doesnt have the dust cap in the center of the woofer.is it replaceable? if so,where can I purchase one?...the speakers seem sound fine to my ear.what is the purpose for this cap anyway?..thanks tom

Funky, I had the cary 300SEI in the past and I have to admit that cary made product sound as good or better then other component 3X the price. You wont go wrong with Cary product.my .02 cents.
