  1. Hard to imagine it was 8 years ago that I saw so many die as those huge towers fell. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families that must feel today like it was just yesterday.... Not some remote memory in our collective memory banks.... Paul
  2. Travis, those look like they are going to be beautiful! I am so sorry that I am on call. That looked like a lot more fun that hanging out at the hospital! Paul
  3. 2-3 in the past, has been quite some time ago now. They were both in Oklahoma.
  4. What I tried to type was this: left arrow p/ right arrow, using the symbols rather than writing out arrow, and it works
  5. ok, so the seems to work, but that will be a pain to type each time....
  6. ok I am going to try shift enter and see if that works
  7. I have delivered several babies with CAH. When they come out, it is not at all evident which sex they are. Parents ask what is it? I am not able to tell them. Absolutely awful. They say, why not, should be a pretty easy thing to tell the sex of the baby. I have to tell them that we will have to do some testing and things. Very very sad and confusing for parents indeed! Then with some of these disorders, the poor parents have to decide whether to try to change the genitalia more to male or female. And they are horrified to make the 'wrong' choice. Can you imagine? What if the kid grows up 'feeling' like a boy who was surgically made more like a girl, or the other way around. It is truly heartbreaking deal..
  8. When I use my Apple laptop. I hit enter and it moves down a line as I type. Then when I post, it all goes in one continuous line. Makes it rather hard to read really. Do other's Apples do this? Anyway to make it skip lines when I hit enter? Paul
  9. Yeah, I don't know about Toyota's dealers. The Lexus dealers are just so easy to work with. They treat you like you are really someone important and they are thrilled and honored to have your business. And, I am so not important....
  10. Oh yeah, it is fancy Toyota. Mechanics and all. I would do just as well with Toyota, but wife does like bling factor I guess....
  11. My father in law has owned several Land Rovers. All have been just service nightmares. We have always like them, look great, smell great, cool cars. But have always stayed away from them because of his experiences. My wife instead has the Lexus LX 470, and Lexus just builds a solid car. Nothing have ever gone out on the thing. It has about 90000 mile on it now. Once a cd got stuck that was it. So the dealer, rather than giving us a hassle, just pulled the whole radio, put in a brand new one, then mailed us back the CD!. So, we are not on our second one of the same car. The cost of them putting in the new CD, not much. Benefit of gaining a steady customer, a bit more I should expect. Paul
  12. Well, in case I forget in Octorber, Happy Birthday! Paul
  13. When I first got my first Klipsch speakers, my lascalas, my mother in law was over and helped clean up the apartment. She thought that they were some type of bookshelf, and proceeded to stack a bunch of books in the bottom parts of them. Looked kinda cool, not so great on the sound. Paul
  14. My two year anniversary is coming up in October! Times flies. They grow up so fast. And no, they are not actually growing. They were kinda born nice and big! Paul
  15. Way too young! So sorry for your loss. Paul
  16. SF, good to hear from you. Take care and good luck! Paul
  17. Amy, So sorry about your loss. Will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Paul
  18. I too hope he is well. His sign off was a bit concerning.
  19. Dude, you may possibly have the most dangerous backhoe of all times! Have been treating her poorly? Talking bad to her? Changing fluids regularly? I would suggest you contact a Back Hoe Whisperer as soon as you can! She has some issues with you right now!
  20. I recently got my iphone. Was driving with a trailer. Had to look at screen to dial a number on it, no touch feel on it. Before I even knew it, I had wandered over to the right shoulder and 2 right wheels went into grass for a second. Thank God I drive a very heavy truck and no one was around. Scared the crud out of me! I thought, how could you text, which requires even more looking? Left an impression on me. They have started doing some studies that appear to show that drunk drivers respond better and quicker to texters. Now, you are really going to have to look out for the ultimate: Drunk Texting Drivers!
  21. Actually, I just watched Eagle Eye. Pretty good movie I suppose. Scary what info on all of us is just 'out there'
  22. Saw a bumper sticker that said: I love Cats! Ask me for Tasty Recipes. I too own a lot of cats, about 7 of them that live outside. Good snake hunters! Paul
