it may be sad to us; but, it can’t come as a shock to Klipsch, can it? maybe they’re content with their marketshare and don’t have bigger dreams? I don’t know. You’d have to ask them and since they’re taking away posts from us, i suspect they don’t really care what we have to say. (how was that for incorporating a current forum event into a totally unrelated thread?).

back in 1984, walked into this audio shop and asked the guy if he could recommend a speaker…he directed me to a pair of Klipsch Heresey I. bought them and haven’t bought another brand of speaker since. Happy with their product; but, if i had known about this forum and how i’d get roped into some of these discussions, i would have bought different speakers. Keep crossing the einstein/rosen/pololsky bridge into alternative universes … maybe you’ll find one where klipschorns are free.

no; but, i do remember my brother had the Eagles (One of These Nights), America (Greatest Hits), and YES (Close to the Edge). That YES tape got me hooked on the band.

i agree... i'm not opposed to a little work here and there; but, some of this extreme stuff is scary. i wonder if those that no longer look natural look in the mirror and think they look better or do they realize that they look horrible; but, decide to ride it out?

just read this quote that Joan made in 2013 ... "The trouble with me is, I make jokes too often," she told the AP in 2013, just days after the death of her older sister. I totally relate to her now. My Aunt passed away and the Portuguese side of my family is Catholic. So we're at this funeral home...i find the whole idea of viewing a dead body to be quite unpleasant, so i say to my cousin, "you know when you told me that your mom died, I believed you ... you didn't have to show me." Nobody laughed.
