just me an my brother...last year, i recommended a pair of cornwalls to him...now he's hooked! funny, he told me that he invites friends from work over and he'll put on some tunes hoping that everyone will be blown away--and they just want to talk shop. he'll say, "wow, this sounds great." and everyone will stop for a second and agree, then go back to talking. except one friend of his that is a musician, he's the only one that truly appreciates the great sound.

Its been out for a long while; but, never disappoints...

they do see the audience...heard an interview with roger taylor (drummer for Queen). he said that he always hated drum solos, saying that if he looked up and seeing someone leaving to go get a hot dog, he felt that he was boring them.

just a diet coke for me. pancreas got mad at me, and forced me to retire from booze. miss it once in a while; but, not very much actually. happy friday.

Sweet..... How long have you been playing? A few months actually. Had a nice Fender Telecaster about 20 years ago, never really learned to play it. Buddy at work has been playing the bass for about 30 years. after talking music with him at work, decided to take up the guitar again.

i wonder if that pot gets you HIGHER than pot trucked into the country?

Not a bass; but, still in the stringed instrument family...my stuff: The gold Gretsch is my Christmas present to myself.

well, with the price of thread these days, they were bound to have to make some cuts.

i've used different ones. For a while, it was Another Brick in the Wall from Roger Waters In the Flesh DVD. I also have used RUSH Fly by Night (the opening guitar is great).

i got divorced--lost my house too. moved into a one bedroom apartment. i have H1s, H2s, F3-C3-S3 and KSW-12, plus GMX on my computer. they all get along perfectly well with the two flat screen tvs, slot machine, traffic light, neon signs, Mac computer, Gretsch guitar, Yamaha guitar; and black leather couch. Oh yeah, I also own ONE Fork.

out here in the wild, wild, west--we have Del Taco. That is where I eat (at least five times a week). Much better tasting than Taco Bell; however, it's the taste of the refried beans that keeps me away from Taco Bell. I wonder what their next commercial tagline will be: "Try our new burrito with meat-like substance."

i like football; but, i think King of Queens, Seinfeld, and Green Acres should be on that list somewhere.

i'm surprised he didn't tow the cars himself. i think for his 70th birthday, he swam a good distance towing 10 rowboats with people in them. he did all kinds of amazing things. swimming from alcatraz to san francisco is incredible. that water is COLD and the current is VERY strong.

Jack passed away yesterday at age 96. watching his show was one of my childhood memories. he did amazing feats of endurance even as he got up there in years.

it does appear to be a steeler-v-packer superbowl. i think i'll root for the steelers.
