MD 20/20--good ole Mad Dog 20/20. takes me back to when i first got out of boot camp back in 1978. sent to an ice breaker on the great lakes. wandering around in the freezing cold of strange towns when we were in port--often with a bottle of the Mad Dog. Fierce Stuff.

Brian May, Guitarist for Queen. Shook his hand, talked to him, got an autograph. I'm a huge Queen fan for over 30 years, so this was incredible for me. He is also a Doctor of Astrophysics. I met him at the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles. Sadly, they were very restrictive on camera use--no flash photography except for a brief moment when he was introduced. Before the show, he walked right past me, and I rushed to get my camera for a photo--it came out blurry.

Dee--you are more disciplined than i am. the other day, i decided to make a salad for dinner. I spent $53 at the store getting stuff for a salad. I drove home thinking i should have just went to a restaraunt.

to be completely, honest...my lifestyle hasn't changed a single bit. i know many people are having hard times; but, whatever is happening in the ecomony hasn't affected me very much at all. with the exception of MORE money being taken out of my paycheck--which is a paradox because i make less than $250K so i thought my taxes were supposed to go down? But, life is basically the same for me.

frying bologna has to be put to music though. the way it bubbles up and looks like a sombrero.

that's for sure. i don't think we'll ever see a defensive backfield that could match Tatum & Atkinson. His teammates said that the Daryl Stingley incident haunted Tatum for the rest of his life. He was hated for it...and it was a clean hit. Refs didn't even throw a flag.

last time i updated my security clearance before i retired from the coast guard, it took nearly an entire tour of duty just to fill out that security paperwork. i was so happy there were several years in between updates. i hate filling out those things. Good luck filling the positions. i imagine you'll get tons of applicants.

Nothing is too loud for me anymore. Ear specialist said i need hearing aids in both ears. I asked if you got hearing aids from oral sex? actually, i don't think he knew what he was talking about, i still have a lot of dial left on my yamaha.

during the 80s, i used an NAD 1020 and (darn, can't recall the other half) but, really liked them. I'd own NAD again.

Chuck that is horrible news. this is the first that i've read about this--i hope by now, things are greatly improved. I wish i was closer and not on the other side of the country, so i could give you some moral support as you go through this. But, i will definitely be praying for Julia and you. Regards, Steve

it's actually happened to me twice; but, neither time i was able to capture it on camera. the second time, i went for the camera; but, the whale got there first. They really don't like being photographed. Not sure about the south african whales; but, the ones we have around here are particularly moody.

I might suggest that we'd collectively prefer pics prior to consumption as opposed to after consumption. Coytee--you're one step ahead of me. i was going to offer to take pictures sometime today; but, I'm sure that would get me banned. Yes, it was good. Yes, I got indigestion.
