If I get to Knoxville, I'm there for the Jubes!

Bumpety bump...what the heck? Rick

Oh no, my top price would be $650-700. Am actually interested for a friend who is looking for his first pair of awesome Klipsch speakers.
-
Is that a 12" sub? What is it worth?
-
I think he is selling just the C2s. What is your data high price for them?

Clean, but pricey! https://houston.craigslist.org/ele/5945799623.html Rick

Some big Heritage is what you need in that big room! Rick

C'mon Houston; there's got to be at least a half-dozen of you out there.

Anyone in Houston area with miscellaneous Heritage and extended Heritage (Forte, Chorus) that my friend can audition. He is trying to get into the higher end of audio, has a decent budget and is willing to take a little time. I have touted the Heresy to him because I love mine so much. He came over yesterday and we played them with all kinds of music and he was sold. However I would like him to also check out maybe Cornwall, Forte, Chorus, LaScala. He has heard some Reference in Magnolia stores and it sounds like he definitely prefers the Heritage over those. Function will be music over theater, by a long shot. I would like for him to get a taste of the Forte and Chorus; if he likes those perhaps he could wait for the gorgeous Forte III. Also trying to talk him into the Pilgrimage, where hopefully we can hear the Forte III. Rick

I was there three times for work in 2014/2015. This is awful for the residents and the thousands of workers that live in this little town. One highway in and one small airport. Hundreds of miles from any major civilization! Rick

Craftsman on the next level. Top notch, Luther! Rick

Like Eric Holder is doing in Ferguson, huh?

Yet another outrageous story hyped up by the media to keep us from watching our country go swirling down the drain! Yes, abuse is terrible, but the real driver here is, "never let a crisis go to waste!" Rick

Hey rockhound do you still make it down to Houston for business? Rick

Heresy III How to get the best sound out of Heresy III
Cody_Mack replied to Lud Mil's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
On stands with the tweeters at ear height, augmented with a decent sub or pair of subs, good quality amp and a clean signal chain = sonic bliss! I have the Heresy I, bought new in 1983, with only a cap refresh. They sound amazing; I can only imagine what the IIIs sound like! Edit: corner placement not necessary; I like them more straight on and in my face. I had them set up in the bedroom on either side of a 6-foot wide media chest, directly in front of the bed, and they sounded amazing! Best I ever heard them sound I think. Rick -
Story of my life; I stand in line for two hours, turn around, and no one is there In the meantime, waiting for the new R-20B soundbar to be released, my daughter has announced her wedding plans and they are upon us NOW! Oops, there went the soundbar for the living room.; we need that money to buy a freakin' cake! Rick

Curious, why is HDMI important? Rick

Indeed!

Wow, thanks for the nice complements. Sorry for the late reply; I have been out of the country on another work assignment and not been able to get on the forum. The home is absolutely gorgeous, and yes, the arches were definitely one selling point. Not just the brick but arches are dominate throughout the home. Another dominate theme throughout the home is angles, which make a huge difference in spatial presence. We absolutely love it! Rick
